Fabulous Ring of Kerry Tour

We had a fabulous experience with Diarmuid O’Malley who took the four of us around the Ring of Kerry. He is very informed about history, has great Irish sense of humor, very fun and professional. He took us off the beaten path a little to avoid tour buses and to see some unique sights. He recommended great restaurants, pubs and even hooked me up with a physiotherapist because I developed back pain and needed an adjustment. I highly recommend Diarmuid. You will not find a better tour guide!

Wonderful Drive throughout Southern Ireland

Do not hesitate to hire O’Malley for all of your Ireland driving! (yes, he let us call him by his last name). He made our trip complete, going out of his way to assist us in every way possible. He is a genuine local in love with his county, his country, sports, history and helping others! His knowledge of the Ireland golf scene is off-the-charts and he directed us to some beautiful rounds that we might not have experienced. We are especially appreciative of his Waterville Golf Links recommendation! He also drove us to the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula, recommending early departures where we beat all traffic and avoided the large buses clogging the roads. O’Malley has a wonderful, easy personality and it plays out everywhere, especially when you see his meets and greets of all people in all locations. Everyone likes him! He knows the local terrain, golf courses, drive routes and top pubs in every town. Just as important, he has experience with how to avoid the big tourist crowds. He is happy sharing and always offers to make calls on your behalf when needed. I just can’t say enough about how nice O’Malley is and what a huge difference he made during our 9 day visit. He’s a true Irish gentleman with a love for what’s he’s doing that radiates all throughout his rides!

How much does Private Guided Tour Ring of Kerry and Skellig Ring cost?

Prices start at $650 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Killarney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Guided Tour Ring of Kerry and Skellig Ring take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Killarney is not rushed.

Is Private Guided Tour Ring of Kerry and Skellig Ring worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Killarney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Guided Tour Ring of Kerry and Skellig Ring?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Private Guided Tour Ring of Kerry and Skellig Ring suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Guided Tour Ring of Kerry and Skellig Ring?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Killarney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Killarney and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Guided Tour Ring of Kerry and Skellig Ring start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Killarney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Killarney?

+

On Outty we rank every Killarney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Killarney National Park Tour, Full-Day Tour of the Dingle Peninsula, Slea Head, and Inch Beach, Ring Of Kerry Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Killarney?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Killarney?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
