Expectations exceeded

We (family of five) came to Delhi for the first time and were looking for a flexible and individual way to explore the city. We booked a three day individual tour in order to see New-Delhi but also Old-Delhi. And what should I say? In the end we were totally satisfied! Friendly drivers, clean cars, great guides, a lot of useful hints. And whenever we had a wish, they tried to fullfill it! Thank you for three amazing days! We can fully recommend this service!

A tale of two stories.

Our 2nd your date with this company kept us local, and throughout the day we were again chapparoned by Vijay our driver along side our personal tour guide Raj. Again an amazing and well organised day, taking us through old delhi and modern new delhi another extraordinary and memorable day. We accidentally bumped into Angela Markell who happened to be visiting too! Really very humbling day. But remember old delhi is a way of life, it seems likw poverty, and perhaps it is, but it's their world. All in all this tour was 5*. Thank yiu to not only our driver and guides but also to Amit.. our point of contact throughout who was faultless..

One day trip: Delhi🎉

After being picked up from Nizamuddin Railway Station in the morning and dropped off at Delhi Airport at night, we had a fantastic one-day trip to Delhi. Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Akshardham Temple, India Gate, and Qutub Minar were all on our itinerary. We used two SUVs, driven by Mr. Avtar Ji and Mr. Ravi Ji, to transport ten family members, including children. Being natives with extensive knowledge, they both skillfully organized our trip to guarantee a hassle-free, delay-free journey. We would especially like to thank our trip organizer, Mr. Amit Ji, who was very professional and helpful. We traveled with him twice, and both times the experience was better than we could have imagined. Their staff is professional, comfortable, and hassle-free, and I heartily recommend them for any type of travel needs!

A great introduction to Delhi

This was my first day in India, traveling solo and a little nervous. My driver Vijay Kumar made me feel welcome and very safe. Although our day was short, due to late arrival of my flight, I had a great experience and my guide Naveen showed me some really interesting parts of Delhi. I highly recommend this tour, if you have limited time in Delhi, and I especially recommend Private Driver India Tour for handling my enquiries and booking very professionally.

Great experience

Vijay was our driver and we had him for 3 days. He is punctual, professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. This was our second time using the company and we requested him because of the great service. Highly recommended.

Private Guided Tour of Old and New Delhi: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.

How much does Private Guided Tour of Old and New Delhi cost?

+

Prices start at $5333 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Guided Tour of Old and New Delhi take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.

Is Private Guided Tour of Old and New Delhi worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Guided Tour of Old and New Delhi?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Guided Tour of Old and New Delhi suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Guided Tour of Old and New Delhi?

+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Guided Tour of Old and New Delhi start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in New Delhi?

+

On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New Delhi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New Delhi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
