      Meet the guide in front of the Castle and we'll discover Bari origins; then we’ll visit the Cathedral, the underneath Crypt which is preserving the 18th century baroque decorations and the archaeological site under the church, an amazing stratification of different period of times. Then we’ll continue among alleys, small squares and palaces of Bari Vecchia. In the heart of the historic centre we’ll meet Saint Nicholas Basilica, we’ll learn about the origin of the church and the worship of Saint Nicholas, beloved patron saint of Bari, whose remains are still resting in the underground crypt since the end of the year 1000 A.D Last stop will be Piazza Mercantile and Piazza del Ferrarese, which are today the centre of the nightlife in Bari. A beautiful panoramic view on the ancient port and the fortified city walls is expecting you in the end of the tour. N.B. The tour will be operated by Valeria or Mario tour guides
