Very good.... thanks

Special thanks to the tour guide today, I was treated to Turkish coffee, which was very good! Although the driver can't speak English, he can basically communicate with the translation software... At least I am back to hotel safely... Everything is good and thanks all

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your kind review 🙏 We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed your trip to Alexandria and that everything went well. We would also like to kindly mention that all our tours include a professional English-speaking tour guide to assist throughout the day. However, we truly appreciate your understanding and are glad communication was still smooth during your experience. Your safety and comfort are always our top priority, and we’re delighted you returned safely to your hotel. We look forward to welcoming you again in Egypt 🌟 Warm regards, Egypt Travel Team

Cairo - Alexandria! Great trip

Picked up by Hussein at our hotel in Cairo and driven to Alexandria, where we met Alaa who took us round the Catacombs, then onto the Biblioteca and finally onto the old Lighthouse, after this we were driven back to Cairo, everything was very smooth and for Brits in northern Egypt this would be one jI recommend.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed your day trip from Cairo to Alexandria. Hussein and Alaa will be delighted to know their efforts made your experience smooth and memorable. It was our pleasure to show you the best of Alexandria — from the Catacombs to the Bibliotheca and the Lighthouse. You are always welcome anytime, and we hope to see you again soon for more adventures in Egypt

Alexandria Egypt, a must see tour!

I would like to share my experience of an incredible excursion in Alexandria, Egypt, where the Mediterranean Sea meets history. Our tour was expertly organized by Muhammad, who is hands down the best tour guide I've ever encountered. He skillfully arranged our transportation, guided us through stunning sites, and provided a delicious lunch along with delightful surprises throughout the day. Our guide, Eslam, was a treasure trove of knowledge; I later learned he is a teacher, which made the experience even more enriching. I came away feeling truly educated after exploring the Roman theater and the fascinating museums. We took a refreshing break to enjoy a fantastic seafood lunch, which was the perfect way to recharge. From beginning to end, this tour has been one of the finest I've ever experienced. The entire team deserves a perfect score of 10 out of 10. If you're thinking about visiting Egypt, I highly recommend booking your adventure through Egypt Travel & Tours. You won't regret it!

Response from the operator: Thank you for rating us Excellent. We are so pleased to hear that you spent a lovely time in our beloved country with us. Your safety, comfort and satisfaction are very important to us more than anything else. We hope to see you again soon with a longer stay...there are a lot of amazing things to discover around Egypt, and we will be waiting to show you the treasures of our country. We appreciate your time and efforts in Providing a feedback to us. 😍😍

AMAZING DAY TRIP TO ALEXANDRIA! 🤩

Our morning started early today. We had a 7am pickup by our driver, Ahmeed, to the coastal city of Alexandria, bordering the Mediterranean Sea. Pickup was quite the experience. Our main tour guide, Mohamed, organized everything perfectly for us! The drive to Alexandria was about 2.5 hours. Before we got on the highway, Ahmeed stopped at a gas station to fill up and my mom and I went to grab breakfast at the Dunkin Donuts next door. Ahmeed was very passionate and accommodating 🙏🏾 Once in Alexandria, we picked up our local tour guide for the day, Eslam. It was a fascinating day of exploring historic Grecian/Roman/Alexandrian ruins. He took us to the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, The Ancient Roman Theater, and The Library of Alexandria. Along the way, we stopped for a very tasty seafood lunch in a beachfront restaurant. Later in the day, Eslam also made a pit stop to introduce us to another traditional Alexandrian snack, lamb liver. At first, we were skeptical because, liver 🙄, but it was so yummy! And of course, mom in I with our big energy and personalities had all the staff in there dancing. Even our guide, Eslam and driver, Ahmeed, came out of their shells to dance a little! 🥰 Another amazing day in Egypt! No complaints and thank you Mohamed, Eslam, and Ahmeed for a perfect day! 🙌🏾 #GloryToGod #bucketlist #motherdaughtertrip

Private Guided Full Day Tour To Alexandria From Cairo: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.

How much does Private Guided Full Day Tour To Alexandria From Cairo cost?

+

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Guided Full Day Tour To Alexandria From Cairo take?

+

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.

Is Private Guided Full Day Tour To Alexandria From Cairo worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Guided Full Day Tour To Alexandria From Cairo?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Guided Full Day Tour To Alexandria From Cairo suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Guided Full Day Tour To Alexandria From Cairo?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Guided Full Day Tour To Alexandria From Cairo start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cairo?

+

On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cairo?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cairo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
