    Wonderful Tour

Our family of 4 did a private Grand City Tour with Michael. We were picked up at our hotel and spent the whole day with Michael exploring various sites. Weather was perfect and saw so many things. Communication was great - van was very clean - Michael is very knowledgeable and personable. Can't say enough good things abut Michael and his company. Highly recommend this tour (or small group) - you will not be disappointed!

Perfect and only way to tour Vancouver!

Michael’s tour was excellent from start to finish. Our private group of 11 was met at the cruise ship terminal following our Alaskan cruise. We were picked up in his pristine Mercedes van that accommodated all of our luggage. We were given a wonderful tour of beautiful Vancouver. His knowledge and love for his city was evident in all that we were shown and educated about! In our short time in Vancouver we were introduced to the beauty and uniqueness of Vancouver. We stopped at a wonderful restaurant for lunch. The food was delicious with everyone really enjoying their selections. We continued our tour after lunch with the fascinating Marketplace in Vancouver with all of its incredible offerings. We finished up our tour with a visit to the largest ice cream shop in the world, offering 238 different flavors of homemade ice cream. It was delightful! After our wonderful tour, Michael transported us to the airport for our evening return flight home! It was really a perfect ending to our wonderful Alaskan adventure!

Response from the operator: I aim to please, thank you for joining me on the Grand city tour all the best Michael Lawrence

    Best Tour Guide Ever

Michael Lawrence is a fantastic person and guide. He went out of his way to treat my family with warm generosity and showed them a great time in Vancouver. I would recommend you use him any time you are in Vancouver. He was a blessing to us.

Personalized & Perfect - Family Day Tour of Vancouver!

Our family of 6 booked a private grand city tour of Vancouver with Micheal Lawrence and the tour exceeded all expectations. Michael's knowledge of Vancouver was extensive, the personal touches he added really brought the town alive. I'm most grateful for his ability to keep us all engaged with his wit and good humor, especially since our ages ranged from 12-77. If you like history, architecture, good Asian food, and the opportunity to see Vancouver from the eyes of local - this is the tour for you! We read through so many reviews, and it is not surprising to see why Lawrence Tours has such high ratings. This was an exceptional tour - thank you Michael!

Private Grand City Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vancouver.

How much does Private Grand City Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $802 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vancouver usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Grand City Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vancouver is not rushed.

Is Private Grand City Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Vancouver, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Grand City Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Grand City Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Grand City Tour?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vancouver can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vancouver and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Grand City Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vancouver within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Vancouver?

    +

On Outty we rank every Vancouver experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Grand Bicycle Tour of Vancouver, The Stanley Park Bicycle Tour, Vancouver City Sightseeing Tour: Capilano Suspension Bridge & Vancouver Lookout. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Vancouver?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Vancouver?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Private Grand City Tour?

    +

Included: Hotel pickup and drop-off; Driver/guide; and Transport by air-conditioned Mercedes Benz Sprinter tour van. Not included: Lunch; Food and drinks; and Gratuities. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Private Grand City Tour include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 35 listed pickup locations in and around Vancouver. Be ready about 5 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

What languages is Private Grand City Tour offered in?

    +

It is offered in Japanese and English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Private Grand City Tour?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
