A Stress-free Day Hosting Our Three-generation Family in the Grand Canyon
I booked a day tour with Above and Beyond Canyon Tours for nine family members, ranging in age from 8 to 78. Cory was courteous, friendly, and professional. He is so knowledgable about the canyon that he made it an unforgettable experience, even for those in our party who had visited the canyon before. He was very skilled at "reading the room" and tailoring the day and conversation to our interests. The van was quite comfortable for all of us and they nailed it with the snack selections, an important factor in making everyone's day pleasant. Cory took us to mostly private viewing spots so that fighting crowds was never an issue. The cherry on top of the cake was spotting a baby condor outside his cave through Cory's viewing equipment on our last stop, and the condor was three miles away! This made a very big impression on our kiddos. I would highly recommend using Above and Beyond for your ideal tour of the Grand Canyon.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your awesome 5-star review, Jane! We are delighted to hear you and your family enjoyed your Private Grand Canyon Tour with Cory! He had a wonderful time with all of you, as well! Thank you for touring with Above and Beyond Grand Canyon Tours and supporting our local, family business! We hope to see you again next time you visit northern Arizona, Jane! Best regards, Molly McKee Above and Beyond Grand Canyon Tours

Amazing tour with great guide!
Amazing tour! We were unsure of how to tackle the immensity of Grand Canyon with such a tight schedule. Spending a half day with Molly was exactly the way to do it! With a degree in geology and great love for nature, the day with her was not only educational but inspiring. She was a delight. Taking us to many viewpoints and showing us things up close through her scope left us feeling like we saw as much as we could without having to hike down into the canyon. We highly recommend this tour!
Response from the operator: Thank you for the kind words and awesome 5-star review, Martha! It was nice meeting you both, and I'm so happy you enjoyed your day at the Grand Canyon! Thank you for touring with us and supporting our local business, Martha! We hope to see you again next time you visit northern Arizona! Best regards, Molly McKee Above and Beyond Grand Canyon Tours

Fantastic day with Cory
I can’t imagine a better guide to the Grand Canyon than Cory. He showed us so much more than we were expecting and fielded every question we could throw at him (and there were a lot). The visuals are of course amazing, but with Cory’s added cultural, botanical and geological perspectives, the whole experience was elevated. I would 100% recommend this.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful 5-star review, Richard! We're so happy to hear you and your family enjoyed your Private Grand Canyon Daily Tour with Cory! He had a great time, as well, and loved all of your questions! Thank you for touring with Above and Beyond Grand Canyon Tours and supporting our local business, Richard! We hope to see you again next time you visit northern Arizona! Safe travels back to England! Best regards, Molly McKee and Cory Lander, Above and Beyond Grand Canyon Tours

An “Above and Beyond” Tour and Guide of the Grand Canyon
My boys and I had the pleasure of spending the day touring the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park with Molly. She is an incredible guide with a wealth of knowledge about the history, wildlife, rock formations, theories and facts amongst a plethora of other information on the state of Arizona. Molly’s familiarity with the region and time spent to ensure our itinerary was planned to perfection were evident by how smooth our day went from beginning to end. Her communication was prompt and thorough from booking to shipping my sunglasses back that I left behind in the van. Molly packed an amazing variety of snacks from crackers, fresh fruit and artisan cheeses to all the goodies my boys could desire! She was attentive to all our needs and desires helping to make the best memories for us! Above & Beyond was worth every penny and I would absolutely book a tour with them again! Thank you for everything, Molly!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful 5-star review, Melissa! I'm so happy you and the boys enjoyed your day at the canyon! I had a great time with you, as well! Thank you for touring with Above and Beyond Grand Canyon Tours, Melissa! We hope to see you again next time you visit Northern Arizona! Best regards, Molly McKee Above and Beyond Grand Canyon Tours

Exceptional tour - East to south rim of the Grand Canyon
Me and my better half and our son went on the above tour with Corey Lander. Corey was an exceptional tour guide and has vast knowledge of the Grand Canyon. He used his telescope to show the real Grand canyon including the Colorado river and mind blowing sights in the canyon. Time very well spent and an unforgettable tour. Thank you, Corey once again.

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Grand Canyon Daily Tour from Flagstaff or Williams: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Flagstaff.
How much does Private Grand Canyon Daily Tour from Flagstaff or Williams cost?
+
Prices start at $629 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Flagstaff usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Grand Canyon Daily Tour from Flagstaff or Williams take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Flagstaff is not rushed.
Is Private Grand Canyon Daily Tour from Flagstaff or Williams worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Flagstaff, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Grand Canyon Daily Tour from Flagstaff or Williams?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Grand Canyon Daily Tour from Flagstaff or Williams suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Grand Canyon Daily Tour from Flagstaff or Williams?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Flagstaff can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Flagstaff and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Grand Canyon Daily Tour from Flagstaff or Williams start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Flagstaff within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Flagstaff?
+
Flagstaff sits at 7,000 feet between the Grand Canyon, Sedona and Antelope Canyon: day tours to all three, plus Lowell Observatory stargazing and Route 66 history walks. On Outty we rank every Flagstaff experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Grand Canyon Day Tour from Flagstaff, Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Day Tour from Flagstaff, Grand Canyon Tour from Flagstaff. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Flagstaff?
+
May to October for canyon trips, December to March for snow at Snowbowl. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Flagstaff?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
