    Most enjoyable tour!

Andres was our tour guide. There was four of us. He picked us up from the Ship terminal at the correct time without any issues. We had requested a modification of out tour and he was glad to do so. Andres was very friendly and professional. He told us about the points of interest that we visited. He also made suggestions of what to see at the different stops. Our tour lasted a little over nine hours and it was well worth the time. Andres is a very good tour guide. We all enjoyed the tour. If you are considering this tour, and it is available, then take it. You will be glad you did. Thanks Andres for a most enjoyable day! Jeff P.

Response from the operator: Dear Jeff, We have been in communication long before your arrival. Since we first heard about it on the phone, I knew exactly what I could expect. My feeling and experience with a people wasn´t wrong. You all are really outstanding people. Not only you are experienced in travelling. Traveling and guiding with you makes some special feelings since it was very obvious you are travelling to see new things, educate about nature, history, and country culture. What you are not. Absolutely you aren´t travellers doing selfie for Facebook profile. Thank you for this wonderful review, and I hope we will see each other again. Andres

    Reykjanes Peninsula and Golden Circle

We had a fabulous 2 days with Andres, visiting both the Reykjanes Peninsula and Golden Circle. Andres has a great knowledge of both Iceland’s history and geography and was happy to flex the arrangements to meet our needs.

Response from the operator: Dear Jeremy, Thank you for trusting my experience and for being there with me that day with you. When we started tour at the first day, I knew exactly you will enjoy Iceland visiting and I wasn´t wrong. Besides, you are both outstanding and experienced travellers. Those kinds of people enjoying even more than those travelling just to make a new picture for replacment of the cover on Facebook. :) I really hope we will meet again one day. Kind regards Andres

    Amazing private tour !

Fabulous tour! Pick up at cruise terminal great- we disembarked quite a bit earlier than expected and Andres change time accordingly. He was knowledgeable, customized stops to our interests and weather as well. Fascinating info and history about Iceland. He explained what to expect at Secret Lagoon- the locker room was interesting. He guided us when and where needed, and knew when to let us do our own thing. Hope to do northern lights tour with him on the future. Highly recommend 😎

Response from the operator: Dear GBHFL, It was my pleasure to be that day with you. It is a tour mixed with geology, history and some atractions. Most of all you have been interested on tour and that kind of travellers get always more out of day. I would really like to be with you again, even on the Northern Lights tour. They are just around the corner after a few months. Thank you for everything and for this wonderful review. Andres

Private tour of the Golden Circle

Andres was an excellent tour guide. His was an informative and well planned tour. We had a wonderful experience seeing the sites of the Golden Circle that included a walk through the tectonic divide, ice cream at a farm (while the cows who produced our tasty treat looked on), relaxing dip into the Old Pool, volcanoe walk, Gullfoss Waterfall. All with explanations and history of the sites we visited! 5 stars!🤗🤗

Response from the operator: 586dor. It was also a very special day for me. Once I come back home with a fresh mind, relaxed, happy, than it means customers on the tour have been outstanding. That day I came back home relaxed and fresh. It is important to say that I have in the majority guests like you. Most likely, it is a result of my previous work and the kind of strategy I built on my own. You told me about countries visited in the past time. I really hope, those who operated tours for you, appreciated with whom they have been or what type of customers they had. Somehow I feel we will meet again. Andres

Private Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon Tour from Reykjavik: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.

How much does Private Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon Tour from Reykjavik cost?

    +

Prices start at $188 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon Tour from Reykjavik take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reykjavik is not rushed.

Is Private Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon Tour from Reykjavik worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 82 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon Tour from Reykjavik?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon Tour from Reykjavik suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon Tour from Reykjavik?

    +

Around 29 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon Tour from Reykjavik start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Reykjavik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
