Best way to see the Countryside

This was a great trip. The causeway is unbelievable. John took us to some really unique places. He took us to many spots where Game of Thrones was filmed. We also got to see the Peace Wall.

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for your feedback Marie we’re really glad you enjoyed the tour and we will pass your kind words on to John!

Great experience in Belfast

We took a 7 hour tour that included many of the Game of Thrones filming sites like the Dark Hedges and Giant's Causeway. We also go to see a lot of the coastline and some of the non-touristy spots. Gerardo was a great guide, with an extensive knowledge of not only the area, but also the history of the UK. His sense of humor kept us entertained during the trip. He took tons of pictures for us, including some in costumes that he provided for us. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and air conditioned. We were given snacks and drinks during the journey. I would recommend this private tour to anyone traveling in the area that want to see things off the beaten path.

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for your feedback we’re really glad you enjoyed the tour and we will pass your kind words on to Gerard!

Fun on the Beautiful Coast of Northern Ireland

Gerrard was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. He thought of everything. He provided typical snacks from the area for us to try. He made sure we got fabulous pictures and even took a video of our trip. We saw the beautiful coast and countryside. He is especially great if you are Game of Thrones fans. He has a wonderful sense of humour. We recommend him and the sights he took us to highly.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. it was a pleasure to have you out with us, we are glad you loved the tour hope you enjoyed the rest of your travels in Ireland!

Private Giant's Causeway Day Trip and Game of Thrones Locations: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Belfast.

How much does Private Giant's Causeway Day Trip and Game of Thrones Locations cost?

+

Prices start at $340 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Belfast usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Giant's Causeway Day Trip and Game of Thrones Locations take?

+

Plan for about 7.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Belfast is not rushed.

Is Private Giant's Causeway Day Trip and Game of Thrones Locations worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Belfast, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Giant's Causeway Day Trip and Game of Thrones Locations?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Giant's Causeway Day Trip and Game of Thrones Locations suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 14. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7.3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Private Giant's Causeway Day Trip and Game of Thrones Locations?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Belfast can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Belfast and add a light layer if any part of the 7.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Giant's Causeway Day Trip and Game of Thrones Locations start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Belfast within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Belfast?

+

On Outty we rank every Belfast experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include A History of Terror - Belfast City Centre Walking Tour, Belfast Troubles Tour: Walls and Bridges, Giants Causeway and Castles from Belfast: Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Belfast?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Belfast?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
