Lovely places, great food and greater wine!
Had this tour as the second day of a longer 3-day itinerary. Leonard did a great job tailoring the tour around what I liked, asking me my favourite wines, picking wineries aligned with my budget and adjusting the pace making sure I was enjoying every moment. He really cares about leaving you happy and doesn't mind adjusting the itinerary on the fly. Everything was super good, from the timeliness, to the vehicle, the pleasant chats and the amazing drinks. It was also nice seeing the areas where he grew up, felt a very different experience from the usual "standard" tours. Everything was perfect and, as an Italian passionate with wine and food, Leonard did an amazing job presenting me with incredible alternatives and making me learn about South African wines. Highlight of the day, Uva Mira winery, one of the best sunsets of my life.

The best cape town experience with leonard

Wonderful wine tour in Africa.
I did a wonderful once in a lifetime WIne tour in the outskirts of Cape own with the most amazing guide Leonard Botha from African Sun Tours. I am usually a solo traveler but this cannot be done alone and it was done in 5-stat style by Leonard and not even the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons could do it better than him. The wines were amazing.. First we went to Babylonstoren, Haute cabriere in Franschhuek. Winieries you cannot miss!!! Then we went to Stallenbosch to an amazing restaurant The Fat Butcher. We walked around the lovely town of Stellenbosch. This is a tour that must be done with Leonard Bohta from African Sun Tours with out at doubt!!!

Amazing experience - Leonard was fantastic!
I was travelling solo and wanted more than just a taxi service so managed to find Leonard of African Sun tours for a private tour guide. I am so glad I did, he is an amazing guide with so much knowledge of the area and understanding of recent and past history. The locations were amazing and Leonard made it a truly personal VIP experience.
