Exceptional Private West Bank Tour – Highly Recommended
We booked a Private Full Day West Bank Luxor Tour with Elite Trip, and it was outstanding from start to finish. The owner, Ayman, arranged everything smoothly and professionally, making the whole experience effortless. Our guide, Hani, an experienced Egyptologist, was truly exceptional. His knowledge of Egyptian history is overwhelming in the best possible way. He explains everything with clarity, enthusiasm, and passion for his country, making every site come alive. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and thanks to him, we understood the history in a much deeper and more meaningful way. Our driver, Ahmed, was also fantastic—very polite, always on time, and driving a clean, comfortable, and new car. Moving around Luxor felt easy and relaxed. He even took us to the train station afterward for our trip back to Cairo, which was a great extra touch. Overall, Ayman’s team delivers top‑quality service at a perfect price point. The combination of professionalism, comfort, and exceptional guiding makes this tour one of the best experiences we’ve had in Egypt. I would recommend Ayman’s tours to anyone visiting Luxor.

Highly recommended
The tour was excellent. It included an air-conditioned car, a guide and a lunch. The car was new and clean, with good air-conditioning. We had a great guide, the lady Mariam, who told us in detail everything about the sites we were visiting. Her English is very good. At the end, we went for lunch to the restaurant "Nile Panorama" overlooking the Nile, where we had a delicious open buffet lunch. The food was freshly made and delicious. The tour lasted from 7 am until 2 pm. We highly recommend this tour.

Great Tour and Great Tour Guide
We were fortunate to visit some places where most tourists and guided tours will not go. Because there were not many tourists in those sites, we were able to gain a much better experience to the temples and valleys. Most guided tours only go to 3 sites but we went to 6. The additional sites were beautiful and definitely worth visiting, even more worth visiting in my family’s opinions. The tour guide Mohammed was so dedicated and responsible. It’s Ramadan and he could not eat or drink anything during the day, yet he kept professional all the way through. We were very thankful for his dedication. I would highly recommend it to someone who is looking for an additional experience with tailored service. We really enjoyed it. Thank you!

Amazing
Mariam and the driver were both very welcoming and hospitable. We only booked late the night before and were worried there would not be enough time to get everything sorted, but they turned up on the agreed time. Mariam is very knowledgeable and passionate, she answered all questions we had for her. We would 100% recommend.

Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Full Day West Bank Luxor Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Luxor.
How much does Private Full Day West Bank Luxor Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Luxor usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Full Day West Bank Luxor Tour take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Luxor is not rushed.
Is Private Full Day West Bank Luxor Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Luxor, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Full Day West Bank Luxor Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Full Day West Bank Luxor Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Full Day West Bank Luxor Tour?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Luxor can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Luxor and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Full Day West Bank Luxor Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Luxor within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Luxor?
+
On Outty we rank every Luxor experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Half Day Luxor Tour Valley of Kings & Queens, Hatshepsut, Full Day Tour to East and West Banks of Luxor (Private), Private Half day Tour to West bank. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Luxor?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Luxor?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
