Good and packed trip to see Hoi An and the area
We had Long as our guide and overall it was a very good experience. The tour is very packed and you get to see a lot of things but it feels a little rushed so plan to leave early in the day so you can get to do everything. Long was knowledgeable and nice and very accommodating. Our favourite activities were the cooking class with Mr. Tai, th basket boat ride, lantern boat ride and lantern release in Hoi An. Such an awesome experience. The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is the driver who was a bit rude and made us wait over 30 min at the end of the day without picking up his phone. The guide was very nice and waited with us until the driver finally picked up his phone and came to pick us up. The boss of the tour company came over and helped out so overall it was a good ending but left a bitter taste.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your detailed feedback and for choosing our tour. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the experience, especially the cooking class with Mr. Tai, the basket boat ride, and the lantern activities in Hoi An. Long will be delighted to know that his knowledge and support made your day memorable. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the driver at the end of the tour. This is not the level of service we aim to provide. We have already addressed this issue with our team to ensure it does not happen again. Thank you again for your understanding, and we hope to welcome you back for an even better experience next time.

Perfect Experience!
The private full-day tour in Hoi An was absolutely worth it! The guide was friendly, the itinerary was well-planned – exploring the ancient town, making lanterns, and riding a basket boat were all fantastic experiences. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The highlight was releasing lanterns on the Hoai River – truly magical!

Private Full Day Tour in Hoi An: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Da Nang.
How much does Private Full Day Tour in Hoi An cost?
+
Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Da Nang usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Full Day Tour in Hoi An take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Da Nang is not rushed.
Is Private Full Day Tour in Hoi An worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Da Nang, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Full Day Tour in Hoi An?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Full Day Tour in Hoi An suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Full Day Tour in Hoi An?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Da Nang can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Da Nang and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Full Day Tour in Hoi An start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Da Nang within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Da Nang?
+
On Outty we rank every Da Nang experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills Small Group Tour, Easy Rider Motorbike Tour via Hai Van Pass From DaNang/HoiAn/Hue, Marble Mountains - Am Phu Cave - Monkey Mountain Sunset tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Da Nang?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Da Nang?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
