Highly personalized, comfortable, and incredibly delicious!
This private tour was the perfect fit for our group. Traveling with [my family / my partner] in a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle allowed us to move at our own comfortable pace. Our guide tailored the itinerary perfectly to our interests, showing us major historical landmarks like [e.g., the Gravensteen Castle / Lake of Love] while steering us away from the heavy tourist crowds.

This private full-day tour to Bruges and Ghent was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Belgium
This private full-day tour to Bruges and Ghent was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Belgium. Everything was perfectly organized from the moment we were picked up, and the comfortable transportation made the journey between the two cities relaxing and enjoyable. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Belgian history and culture, sharing fascinating stories that brought each destination to life. Bruges felt like a fairy tale with its beautiful canals, medieval streets, and charming squares, while Ghent offered a wonderful mix of historic landmarks and vibrant local atmosphere. The tastings were a fantastic addition to the day, giving us the opportunity to enjoy authentic Belgian specialties and making the experience even more memorable. We never felt rushed, and the itinerary was thoughtfully planned with plenty of time to explore, take photos, and soak in the unique character of each city. Our driver was professional, punctual, and ensured a smooth and comfortable journey throughout the entire day. This tour exceeded all of our expectations and offered the perfect combination of history, culture, local flavors, and outstanding service. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a personalized and unforgettable day trip from Brussels.

Magical Mavilud in Bruges
Mavilud was fabulous! We had a wonderful time! He’s was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the tour! Thank you!
via Tripadvisor
excellent and scenic
Mavliud was great and the sights we saw were amazing. He picked us up at the hotel in Brussels and off we went. He knew to get us to Bruges before the real crowds started. The Waffle place, Lunch Place and Beer Place were all top notch. In Ghent he made sure to fit in the 2 things we wanted: the Altarpiece at St. Bavo's and a brief stop at the MSK museum. The small group aspect was amazing no waiting on others to get to the bus; the ability to alter or add to the itinerary etc all great reasons to do these small tours!

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Full-Day Tour Bruges & Ghent from Brussels with tastings: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Brussels.
How much does Private Full-Day Tour Bruges & Ghent from Brussels with tastings cost?
+
Prices start at $1152 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Brussels usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Full-Day Tour Bruges & Ghent from Brussels with tastings take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Brussels is not rushed.
Is Private Full-Day Tour Bruges & Ghent from Brussels with tastings worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 40 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Brussels, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Full-Day Tour Bruges & Ghent from Brussels with tastings?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Full-Day Tour Bruges & Ghent from Brussels with tastings suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Full-Day Tour Bruges & Ghent from Brussels with tastings?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Brussels can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Brussels and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Full-Day Tour Bruges & Ghent from Brussels with tastings start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Brussels within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Brussels?
+
On Outty we rank every Brussels experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hungry Mary's Famous Beer and Chocolate Tour in Brussels, Brussels: Historical Walking Tour with Chocolate & Waffle Tasting, Brussels Chocolate Beer Waffle and Belgian Whiskey All-in-One (Small Group) Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Brussels?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Brussels?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
