Mixed experience
My experience with the tour was not very good I must admit. The tour should have started at 04:00 but the driver arrived after 5:00. That was a very unpleasant start to wait more than one hour in the middle of the night. Although it was not the fault of the driver, since the organization told him a wrong pick up time. The overall tour was very short, not even 4 hours total already including lunch (we started 8:45 at kings valley and finished 12:20 already). The tour guide did not share a lot of information and was not even coming with me to the graves or temples to explain any details (except Karnak). Left me with free time to explore the temples my self and waiting for me at a different location, only sharing 2-4 general sentences at the beginning. I was told there is not enough time to visit all locations and that I have to make choices. Despite that, within the only 3.5h tour I was brought to an shop (crafting show) were I should buy things if I am interested. This is standard for bigger group tours and common, but for a „VIP“ private tour where you pay significantly extra that is strange to me. Also 30-60 min were planned for this, but I wanted to leave earlier. Nevertheless, the driver (Mahmoud) was very friendly and the car was very clean, air-conditioned and modern. He did a good job.

Great Private Tour
We had a great private tour with Bella Trips. The tour itself is amazing view after amazing view of the incredible history this area has to offer. Having a single tour guide between the 2 of us really helped to make the most of the day. Our tour guide, Ahmed, was really good. Lots of great information (and quizzes!) throughout the trip. But we also had a nice amount of free time at each site so it didn't feel rushed. Lunch was also at a great restaurant with a fantastic view. Very highly recommended.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to give us with your thoughts and opinions. We're glad to hear you had a pleasant time with us, and we look forward to your return. ❤!

Private Full-Day to Luxor’s Valley of the Kings From Hurghada: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hurghada.
How much does Private Full-Day to Luxor’s Valley of the Kings From Hurghada cost?
+
Prices start at $175 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hurghada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Full-Day to Luxor’s Valley of the Kings From Hurghada take?
+
Plan for about 15 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hurghada is not rushed.
Is Private Full-Day to Luxor’s Valley of the Kings From Hurghada worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hurghada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Full-Day to Luxor’s Valley of the Kings From Hurghada?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Full-Day to Luxor’s Valley of the Kings From Hurghada suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 15-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Full-Day to Luxor’s Valley of the Kings From Hurghada?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hurghada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hurghada and add a light layer if any part of the 15-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Full-Day to Luxor’s Valley of the Kings From Hurghada start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hurghada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hurghada?
+
On Outty we rank every Hurghada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hurghada Diving Adventure one Day with two Dives Boat Trip, Hurghada to Cairo: Pyramids & Museum for First-Time Visitors, Scuba Diving Full Day Boat Trip W/Lunch & Transfer from Hurghada. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hurghada?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hurghada?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
