Incredible tour of a great city
I was kind of wary about visiting Philadelphia because I thought it was dirty and full of crime and angry people, but it’s a beautiful city full of rich culture and history, and food! Adam is such an amazing tour guide! He was incredibly helpful and friendly and made sure I got to see everything I wanted. And the cheesesteak place he took me to was exactly what I was looking for! Not some touristy “Look at me, I’m eating a ‘cheesesteak’ so I can post it on Instagram”, no, he took me to an authentic local place that I loved SO much! It was everything I expected (and wanted) from local Philadelphia culture. He set everything up and planned everything and did all the driving and helped take many photos with myself. And the city itself… wonderful! Please, if you’re on the fence wondering if you should visit… DO IT! I was “forced” to go due to my extreme love of colonial American history, I didn’t actually “want” to go, but it was where all the history was so I had no choice. But I ended up loving the city by the time I left. Actually, I loved it within the first hour! And take the full day 8-hour tour. It sounds like a lot, but there’s so much to do there, even 8 hours will fly by. I know how people think about Philadelphia, believe me I was one of them. But taking the amazing tour with Adam changed my perspective and opened my eyes to a truly beautiful city with vibrant culture and so much history it’ll blow your mind.

Great tour, superb service
We had a great time getting to know Philly, such a beautiful city. Adam really looked after us. During the trip not only did Adam drove us around and explain the historical significance of each spot, Adam also pay close attention to our needs and proactively arrange the best reception from the sites, like calling ahead to let the personnel there know to look out for us. Very much appreciate the thoughtful service. We can highly recommend WeVenture and especially our guide Adam.

Trust the "Process"!
One of the best days I've had in my American vacation. Got to see where the US started. I had the full "Philly" experience. Had a Philly cheesesteak sandwhich at Jim's. Saw the liberty bell, magic garden, independence hall etc. our guide Adam was very knowledgeable and even went the distance to taking us to Kobe Bryant's childhood home and Highschool. Ended our tour with an epic Rocky Balboa running up the Rocky Steps

Amazing Private Tour of Philadelphia with James Robinson!
We had the pleasure of taking a private tour of Philadelphia with James, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. James, a Philly native, brought so much energy and local knowledge to our day. We saw so many incredible parts of the city, from the iconic landmarks to hidden gems we would have never discovered on our own. His unique insights and personal stories added such a rich layer to our experience. One of the highlights was how James went above and beyond for my 10-year-old son. My son had mentioned he wanted to visit two states on our trip, so James went out of his way to drive us across the river to New Jersey. We got some fantastic photos by the water with a beautiful view of the Philadelphia skyline. It was such a thoughtful and fun touch that made the day even more special. James made us feel like we were exploring the city with a friend, not just a guide. If you’re looking for an authentic, informative, and personalized tour of Philadelphia, I can’t recommend James enough!

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Full Day Philadelphia Driving Tour with Special Inclusion: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Philadelphia.
How much does Private Full Day Philadelphia Driving Tour with Special Inclusion cost?
+
Prices start at $975 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Philadelphia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Full Day Philadelphia Driving Tour with Special Inclusion take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Philadelphia is not rushed.
Is Private Full Day Philadelphia Driving Tour with Special Inclusion worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Philadelphia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Full Day Philadelphia Driving Tour with Special Inclusion?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Full Day Philadelphia Driving Tour with Special Inclusion suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Full Day Philadelphia Driving Tour with Special Inclusion?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Philadelphia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Philadelphia and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Full Day Philadelphia Driving Tour with Special Inclusion start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Philadelphia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Philadelphia?
+
Philadelphia's core is walkable: Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell need timed entry, the mural arts programme runs the largest public art collection in the country, and the Reading Terminal and Italian Market food walks fill the middle of the day. Outty Ranking favours operators who secure Independence Hall tickets rather than sending you to the visitor centre queue. On Outty we rank every Philadelphia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Revolution and the Founders: History Tour of Philadelphia, Dark Philly Adult Night Tour, Philadelphia Old City Historic Walking Tour with 10+ Top Sites. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Philadelphia?
+
April to June and September to October, mild weather and open patios. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Philadelphia?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
