While you're there, take a moment to admire its sweeping curves, explore the small rooftop garden, or snap a photo with the dramatic facade. Take in the Views at Griffith Observatory From Downtown LA, we’ll make our way up through the historic neighborhood of Los Feliz—an early Hollywood enclave known for its Spanish-style homes, artistic roots, and ties to icons like Walt Disney, who created Mickey Mouse while living here. You’ll pass the Greek Theatre and catch a glimpse of celebrity homes tucked into the hillside before arriving at our first official stop: Griffith Observatory. While the museum inside is usually closed at this hour, we come here for the incredible views—panoramic sights of the city skyline, the Hollywood Sign, and even the Pacific Ocean on a clear day.
