Beauty!
Book online and avoid long lines. The visit lasts only 20 minutes, it is worth it but if you have to spend 2 hours in line (Christmas period) pass the urge You can't take pictures.
Response from the operator: Grazie per la sua recensione! Come da Lei suggerito, la prenotazione online è fondamentale per evitare lunghe attese essendo la Cappella Sansevero una delle meraviglie del nostro bellissimo paese.

Ticket was not accepted
This is a scam, the museum said that they did NOT have business dealings with who ever issued the ticket. So I was required to pay them again.
Response from the operator: Dear Mary, I am surprised about this bad review because we had email correspondence where you confirmed that you have received the tickets. You also wrote to me the following “ I am so sorry for the inconvenience, I was suppose to have this ticket in the name, Kathleen Grasso. I had booked a ticket with another company that could not accommodate her which she was fine with as long as they were at the same time. Is it possible for her to get a this ticket in her name, or can she be allowed to use my ticket. I'm am so sorry I messed this up. Thank you for your kindness and assistance to am old woman who is still learning to place orders that I pay for but are being used by someone else. Gracie, Mary”. In the email with the ticket there were the instructions to follow. I confirmed that the staff at the Sansevero Chapel don’t check the ID card and that the ticket was valid for you friend too. Did you give your friend the correct ticket, the one that I sent to you? We sell these tickets every day and nobody had problem. I will call you to understand which was the real problem because we are sure that the ticket was the valid one. We have all the correspondence that I will send to Viator/TripAdvisor that will be able to verify that we are honest. I have noticed that you wrote anothet review on the Sansevero Chapel quoting the name of another tour operator where you bought the tickets that were not valid. Kind regards.

Why this scores 53
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Food Tour with Best of Rome: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.
How much does Private Food Tour with Best of Rome cost?
+
Prices start at $220 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Food Tour with Best of Rome take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.
Is Private Food Tour with Best of Rome worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Food Tour with Best of Rome?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Food Tour with Best of Rome suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Food Tour with Best of Rome?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Food Tour with Best of Rome start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rome?
+
Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rome?
+
April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rome?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
