    Orion boat charter experience

The whole day was a great experience, I have done a lot of charted trips in different countries but the experience on the Orion was exceptional. The captain and crew were extremely knowledgeable and did everything they could to ensure I caught. A special thank you to Luis who made the day, he worked consistently putting fresh bait on and pouring the rum. A highly recommended boat to do a trip. Thank you guys!

    Hudson Crew from Carolina

Great experience. Captain and crew were awesome. However, fishing is no guarantee that you will catch fish. And we didn't catch any fish. Had a bite but couldn't get it landed.

Response from the operator: Michael, thank you so much for being part of our great experience. We're sorry you weren't able to catch any fish, but we appreciate you taking a moment to leave your review. We hope to see you next year in our country.

    Never refunded my money

Booked late understandably they could not meet my needs the dates were full. I let them know right away the minute they let me know they cannot meet my schedule. I told them well then I’ll need to cancel it cause that was my only available date. At the same time they took my money and never refunded my $1050. Can’t get hold of anyone no response 🦗

    It was just OK

It was just ok. Deep sea fishing is you really don’t fish you just sit on the boat and drive around and hope something bites then you get to real it in. I know fishing is not 100%and we did catch three fish but it was just ok. We paid for 6 hot private fishing trip well I was fooled because over two hours of that was transportation and having to pick up other people. They also say you can have it cooked for you when you get off the boat (not they just cook some right there for you. I didn’t eat it cause it didn’t look done but the rest of my family did and said it was good. I would not say horrible experience have had worse but very boring and not as advertised. Reviews said how attentive and fun the crew was well most of the time they spent up top away from us. All and all it was ok definitely not worth 700$for sure

Private Fishing Charter in Punta Cana (Emmanuel): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.

How much does Private Fishing Charter in Punta Cana (Emmanuel) cost?

    +

Prices start at $520 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Fishing Charter in Punta Cana (Emmanuel) take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.

Is Private Fishing Charter in Punta Cana (Emmanuel) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 41 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Fishing Charter in Punta Cana (Emmanuel)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Fishing Charter in Punta Cana (Emmanuel) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Fishing Charter in Punta Cana (Emmanuel)?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Fishing Charter in Punta Cana (Emmanuel) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?

    +

On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Buggy Excursion to Macau Beach and Natural Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Punta Cana?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
