Cairo layover
great day but please note the lunch is not overlooking the pyramids...you also go to a perfume place which was not listed and I didn't want to do so we went in and walked out same to a gallery/paining store...its strange because then you start to feel obligated to buy something...I wish we included the Egyptian museum since we had enough time but oh well..loved our lady at the beginning of the day she took great photos of us and then they switched our guide to another guide at the end of the day to take us to the market and the airport
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you had a great day overall and that you enjoyed the experience, especially the beginning of your tour and the photos taken. At the same time, we sincerely apologize for any confusion regarding the lunch location and for the additional stops that were not clearly mentioned in the itinerary. These visits should always be optional and clearly communicated in advance. We also regret that the guide change during the day affected the consistency of your experience, as we aim to provide a smooth and well-organized tour from start to finish. Your feedback is very valuable to us, and we will review these points internally to improve clarity, organization, and overall guest experience. Thank you again for sharing your experience.

Great time with trustworthy tour!
This tour was great! We went to the pyramids while it was still early and cool in the day, stopped by some shops, a stunning Coptic church and had breakfast and a delicious lunch together. Personally, next time if I did this I wouldn’t try to do it on a layover after a red-eye (I was too tired- would definitely book a hotel and sleep) But my driver and tour guide were helpful and informative!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! 🌟 We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed your private tour with Guide. The guide will be delighted to know that you appreciated the experience, Creating enjoyable memories and helping guests capture great photos is always an important part of the journey! 📸✨ Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you back to Egypt again soon for more unforgettable adventures

Private Experience to Giza Pyramids Sphinx, old Cairo: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.
How much does Private Experience to Giza Pyramids Sphinx, old Cairo cost?
+
Prices start at $29 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Experience to Giza Pyramids Sphinx, old Cairo take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.
Is Private Experience to Giza Pyramids Sphinx, old Cairo worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Experience to Giza Pyramids Sphinx, old Cairo?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Experience to Giza Pyramids Sphinx, old Cairo suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Experience to Giza Pyramids Sphinx, old Cairo?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Experience to Giza Pyramids Sphinx, old Cairo start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Giza?
+
On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Camel, ATV Bike, Shopping & Dinner Cruise, Giza Pyramids VIP Private Tour ATV Camel Inside Pyramid & Lunch, Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Camel Ride, Lunch & Inside pyramids. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Giza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Giza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
