Exceptional Guide with Knowledge and Heart
We are so glad we had Ayman Ibrahim Morshed as our guide for the Valley of the Kings and surrounding historic sites. He was a true Egyptologist with superb people skills, making sure we had as much fun as we did learning about the rich history. With Ayman, we visited the Temple of Hatshepsut and several tombs in the Valley of the Kings, including Merneptah, Seti I, Ramesses VIII, and of course King Tut. His depth of knowledge made all the difference—he is truly a diamond in the rough. We’ve had other guides before, but Ayman really stood out. My dad, who is very passionate about Egypt, asked him a million detailed questions, and Ayman answered each one patiently. For me, with only a casual interest, he brought the subject matter to life through stories and connections that kept my ADHD attention. His English was flawless, which made everything easy to follow. We cannot recommend Ayman enough—he made our day unforgettable.
Response from the operator: Your feedback is highly valued. Thanks a lot

Road trip Egypt with Mina Wasfy services
We went through Mina to organize our trip to Egypt; we wanted an accompaniment by French-speaking guides and to be in a private minibus (type Toyota Hiace ). It was a total success , our first experience in Egypt (8 days on site ) delighted the parents and our 2 adults . We had contacted Mina 3 months before ( by e-mail ) to plan the day or half-day excursions (for example a day to Saqqara and Giza ). We had the rate according to our requests . (provide euros to pay to the guide once the excursion is over). We picked up our own entrance tickets to the sites (free access for our guides) with the help of our guides (the reassuring thing is that our guides were (re)cognized on the tour sites) . We adapted the morning start times with Mina via WhatsApp messaging. We were very satisfied with the: - punctuality of the guides picking us up from our hotel - competence of guides with very correct French - the kindness of guides and drivers - ability of drivers to lead us to a safe port (not so simple given the anarchic traffic; seen especially in Cairo ) Mina is very responsive once there too In short , if you want to travel/visit Egypt without a group trip , we recommend MINA and her team!
Response from the operator: Je vous remercie chaleureusement pour votre retour positif. Je suis ravi que vous soyez satisfait de l'organisation de votre voyage.

Private Excursion to the West Bank of Luxor with Egyptologist: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Luxor.
How much does Private Excursion to the West Bank of Luxor with Egyptologist cost?
+
Prices start at €7 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Luxor usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Excursion to the West Bank of Luxor with Egyptologist take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Luxor is not rushed.
Is Private Excursion to the West Bank of Luxor with Egyptologist worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Luxor, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Excursion to the West Bank of Luxor with Egyptologist?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Excursion to the West Bank of Luxor with Egyptologist suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Excursion to the West Bank of Luxor with Egyptologist?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Luxor can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Luxor and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Excursion to the West Bank of Luxor with Egyptologist start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Luxor within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Luxor?
+
On Outty we rank every Luxor experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Half Day Luxor Tour Valley of Kings & Queens, Hatshepsut, Full Day Tour to East and West Banks of Luxor (Private), Full Day Tour of Luxor private. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Luxor?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Luxor?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
