The Absolute Best Way to See Giza

My photoshoot at the Giza Pyramids was the highlight of my trip! My photographer was so much mor than just a guy with a camera; he was an excellent guide with an incredible depth of knowledge regarding Egyptian history. He took the time to explain the significance of the sites while capturing stunning shots. He was incredibly patient, never rushing us even when the crowds were thick, and knew all the best secret angles for the perfect photo. If you want a seamless blend of a history lesson and a professional gallery, look no further!" "I cannot recommend this experience enough. Having a guide who is both a skilled photographer and a history expert made our visit to Giza truly special. He was patient, kind, and highly knowledgeable, answering all our questions while ensuring we got the best lighting and views. A true professional who made the whole morning feel easy and fun."

Amazing Tour with Ibrahim.

We had an amazing experience with Ibrahim during our Saqqara and Giza Pyramids tour. His knowledge of Egyptian history is exceptional, and the way he explains everything patiently makes it so easy to understand and truly fascinating. He brought the stories of ancient Egypt to life and made the entire experience even more memorable. He also made us try the Egyptian local breakfast and tea! On top of being a fantastic guide, Ibrahim is also a great photographer! He knew all the perfect spots and angles and helped us get some truly beautiful pictures. He edited them and gave us the pictures very promptly. So happy with the memories we have got through the pictures. We were so impressed with him that we immediately re-booked him for our day in Cairo to explore the museums and market. The way Ibrahim explained in form of story, our GEM experience was truly stunning. We got really engrossed and loved the time we spent there. He took us for lunch to a local restaurant where the food was really good and authentic. He took us to the best shops at the Khalili market and we could explore it really well. Highly recommend Ibrahim to anyone looking for an informative, friendly, and all-round wonderful guide in Egypt.

Great photoshoot experience with Amazing Photographer!

Please don’t hesitate to book this photoshoot with Ibrahim! He is a great photographer. We wanted to do a photoshoot in the pyramids as a souvenir from our trip and with very short notice we were able to find this photography session, the experience offers pick up from hotels located within certain distance from the pyramids, so we asked to be picked out at our hotel, at the beginning we were a bit afraid to book this session as we were 2 women traveling alone but as soon as Ibrahim picked us up from our hotel, he always made us feel safe. He in addition from being a photographer is also an egyptologist so he guided our visit to the pyramids and provided great info and answered all our questions. The photoshoot went great and got amazing shots, he was always very professional and made us feel super comfortable during the entire duration of the shot. He also speaks perfect english so communicating with him went smoothly. We got the pics a few days after the shot and we were very pleased, we got great pictures. If we are ever back in Egypt we would definitely book Ibrahim again!

Private Egypt Tours: Giza Pyramids & Photography Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.

How much does Private Egypt Tours: Giza Pyramids & Photography Experience cost?

+

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Egypt Tours: Giza Pyramids & Photography Experience take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.

Is Private Egypt Tours: Giza Pyramids & Photography Experience worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 40 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Egypt Tours: Giza Pyramids & Photography Experience?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Egypt Tours: Giza Pyramids & Photography Experience suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Egypt Tours: Giza Pyramids & Photography Experience?

+

Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Egypt Tours: Giza Pyramids & Photography Experience start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cairo?

+

On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cairo?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cairo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
