    Never Again

We ordered cocktails and had to ask if they were Mocktails, as they were so weak. When we spoke to the gentlemen who made them, he just look at us and walked away. When we were seated at our table, it was unstable so we asked if we could move to another as it was empty, they refused and the food was just mediocre. We did not see the hype about this place and left feeling disappointed.

Nice and clean with a Caribbean vibe

I have to start by saying that I had neither lunch nor dinner at Pier One but rather it was a stop on a bus tour from Falmouth Harbor. I really liked the vibe and look of the restaurant, especially the outdoor patio. As part of the tour, we received complimentary Jamaican coffee and Banana-Rum bread, both were absolutely delicious! The bathrooms were clean. I loved looking down to the rocks and seeing blue crabs hurrying around. There were beautiful sailboats to watch as well. It was a very pleasant stop and I hope to return someday for a meal.

Friday Night Dinner and After Party is a MUST!

Friday night dinner and dancing with Jamaican locals. The ackee wontons, salt fish fritters with escovitch sauce and the fish taco with the spicy tropical fruit sauce. I got a taste of the island’s delicious foods which varied from sweet to spicy while enjoying the beautiful breeze off the pier. The view was exceptional! After dinner the DJ plays various genres dance music. I was able to see all the latest reggae dance moves. The facilities were very clean and staff was courteous and friendly. The experience is a must!

    Must try their menu

Visited with family august 2022 and oh my goodness we really looked to ambiance and classy atmosphere. The food was delicious and fresh. They had a big screen at the sports bar, music(not too loud) and a clean classy restaurant. This is a must visit in Jamaica.

    MID.

Service was mid. After 25 minutes of being seated, I was greeted by a busser and told that my server will be with me shortly, I had to ask for water which is literally the bare minimum. After I did get the water, it was another 20 minutes wait. My impatience and knowing what service should be got the better of me an I made my way to the podium to let the hostess know I am yet to see a server....well, I did see servers, they all looked us dead in the eyes without even asking if we are okay with nothing on the table. I get it, it may have not been their stations but still a simple "are you okay?" goes A LONG WAY. After complaining, I was given a server, fine. the only time he touched the table was to drop food off. No ordering of something to drink, needless to say, I placed a drink order. Notice I said drink, which means I only had ONE! In service, the tactic is, you offer drinks first, let them sip until the food is ready, by then, they will need another glass, that will serve through main course after which, ask if they would like another. On that night, I went prepared to have 6 drinks between my partner and I and we only had two. He has ONE and I had ONE! When I was searching for the server to order another one, he was no where to be found! Anyway! I will be back on Saturday so please be on the look out or an updates review. And please, keep the "food is prepared to order" response. Believe it or not, I KNOW! The food taking awhile was NOT my problem. My problem was all the service INEFFICENCIES.....IDK, maybe the color of our skin perhaps?

Private Dunn’s River Falls, River Tubing & Local Lunch Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Montego Bay.

How much does Private Dunn’s River Falls, River Tubing & Local Lunch Experience cost?

    +

Prices start at $158 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Montego Bay usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Dunn’s River Falls, River Tubing & Local Lunch Experience take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Montego Bay is not rushed.

Is Private Dunn’s River Falls, River Tubing & Local Lunch Experience worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Montego Bay, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Dunn’s River Falls, River Tubing & Local Lunch Experience?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Dunn’s River Falls, River Tubing & Local Lunch Experience suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Dunn’s River Falls, River Tubing & Local Lunch Experience?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Montego Bay can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Montego Bay and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Dunn’s River Falls, River Tubing & Local Lunch Experience start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Montego Bay within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Montego Bay?

    +

On Outty we rank every Montego Bay experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Montego Bay Airport Transfer to Negril, Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls Private Tour from Montego Bay, Appleton Estate Admission Ticket & Distillery Tour with Tastings. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Montego Bay?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Montego Bay?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
