    Beautiful Mountains!!

Wonderful day! Paola was a wonderful guide and Lucco was a great driver! The drive is gorgeous with breathtaking views of the mountains. Stopping for breakfast at a quaint coffee shop, hiking around a mountain lake, and enjoying a typical lunch was all just perfect! Highly recommend!!

    The Natural Beauty of Italy

While my wife and I were excited about traveling to the beautiful Dolomites, we didn't expect our guide (Marco) could have made it such a special experience. From the pick-up in Venice on a hot August day, Marco set the stage for a day of learning about the history of Venice and Veneto. We made plans on the way since it was the first day of Italian holidays and the traffic was a consideration. So we chose a relaxing trip to Cortina and Cinque Torri (the Five Towers). We took a leisurely tour through Cortina where we had some nice italian expresso and Marco jumped into the local bakery to get us a sampling of the local rye breads. Throughout the walk we were given a historical overview of the region, languages and Tyrol influence. It was truly educational. Next stop, a chair lift to Cinque Torri and a truly spectacular 360 panoramic view of the Dolomites. The day started with some sketchy weather, but it eventually burned off and we had beautiful clouds and sun which made for quite a light show on the mountains. I would put the Dolomites in my top 5 natural wonders I have seen in the world. We had lunch at Rifugio Scoiattoli on the mountain. Here we tasted local dishes and sampled local wines including a nice red, Lagrein, an interesting variety, indigenous to Alto Adige. My wife tried a pale South Tyrolean Gewürztraminer - the aroma is fruity, but the wine is dry - very nice. Both were winners. After taking the chair lift back down the mountain and we drove to Alleghe Lake and toured the small town. This was a magical day trip made all the more special by our tour guide; a native Venetian who did a great job explaining the architecture, history, languages and cultural aspects of this part of Italy. Thanks Marco for making this a fun and memorable experience. JNJ

    Picture perfect.

Matteo and Sergio were amazing. The ride, new Range Rover, was comfortable and smooth. The views were breath taking and so beautiful you didn’t realize it was real. Private tour was definitely the way to go.

Amazing day trip to the Dolomites

This was the last day of our two week trip to Italy and it may have been the best. Our guide was Marco and our driver was Mattia. These guys were a great team and they were a big reason we had such a good time. We were picked up early in Venice and took a nice two hour drive to Cortina. Once you enter the mountains the scenic beauty continues to amplify. The Dolomites are stunningly beautiful. We took a tram ride to the top of a mountain and was able to see all the way into Austria. We were very fortunate that the weather cooperated. There were some sparse clouds, but for the most part, it was perfect. Marco is a great guide and photographer. He explains the area and history quite well and Mattia is an excellent driver allowing you to take many photos along the way. This was a great way to end a perfect trip to Italy.

Private Dolomites Day Trip from Venice by Mercedes Class e Lux: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.

How much does Private Dolomites Day Trip from Venice by Mercedes Class e Lux cost?

    +

Prices start at $1900 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Dolomites Day Trip from Venice by Mercedes Class e Lux take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.

Is Private Dolomites Day Trip from Venice by Mercedes Class e Lux worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Dolomites Day Trip from Venice by Mercedes Class e Lux?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Dolomites Day Trip from Venice by Mercedes Class e Lux suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Dolomites Day Trip from Venice by Mercedes Class e Lux?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Dolomites Day Trip from Venice by Mercedes Class e Lux start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Venice?

    +

On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Venice?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Venice?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
