Great Guide!

Tomas is so friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. Thanks for taking care of us! He transferred us from Munich to Salzburg and 8 days later, brought us back to Munich. He is very thoughtful and provides water and air conditioning for the ride.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind review! We’re delighted to hear that Tomas made both your Munich–Salzburg transfer and your return journey enjoyable and comfortable. His friendly approach, local knowledge, and thoughtful touches such as providing water and keeping the vehicle comfortable reflect the standard of service we aim to deliver on every Europe Journey trip. We’re very pleased that you felt well taken care of throughout both journeys. We would be happy to welcome you on another Europe Journey experience in the future!

Easy comfortable way to get from MUC Airport to several major locations in Austria

We flew into Munich and wanted to have a comfortable ride to Salzburg Austria straight from the airport to our hotel to get ready for an event that night. My husband, daughter and I were exhausted from travel and we really appreciated Michael’s solid communication. in picking us up. Clean comfortable Volkswagen with fresh water bottles waiting and very accommodating as well. We needed to do a quick stop to pick up a couple of souvenirs and he found the perfect spot before the Germany/ Austria border so that we could get everything but still got to our hotel early enough to get ready for the dinner event. Great to talk to and very informative. We would definitely use him and his transport services again

Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Jennifer, for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that your transfer from Munich Airport to Salzburg was comfortable and smooth, especially after a long journey. Michael will be very happy to know his communication, flexibility, and thoughtful touches—like the water and the well-timed stop—made a difference for you and your family. We truly appreciate your kind words and recommendation, and we’d be happy to assist you again on your future travels!

Thomas the driver made everything work

Our driver Thomas was very kind. I arrived at Terminal 2 of Munich Airport , and I was waiting for my sister and friend to arrive from Paris . I didn't know where they would go. Thomas was communicating with me via Whats App, discovered that they would arrive by terminal 1 and went to the place q I was to meet myself. Without it, I would be lost at the airport. Gave it all right

Response from the operator: Hello, Dora! Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re very happy to hear that everything went smoothly with your arrival. Thomas is truly dedicated to providing excellent service, and we’re glad he was able to assist you and help reunite you with your sister and her friend. Navigating a busy airport can be stressful, and we’re pleased he made the experience easier for you. We appreciate your trust in us and hope to welcome you again in the future!

Private direct transfer from Munich Airport to Salzburg: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Munich.

How much does Private direct transfer from Munich Airport to Salzburg cost?

+

Prices start at $88 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Munich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private direct transfer from Munich Airport to Salzburg take?

+

Plan for about 0 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Munich is not rushed.

Is Private direct transfer from Munich Airport to Salzburg worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Munich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private direct transfer from Munich Airport to Salzburg?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private direct transfer from Munich Airport to Salzburg suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private direct transfer from Munich Airport to Salzburg?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Munich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Munich and add a light layer if any part of the 0-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private direct transfer from Munich Airport to Salzburg start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Munich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Munich?

+

On Outty we rank every Munich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour with Train from Munich, Munich Classic Bike Tour @ 11.30am with Surfers & beergarden stop, Dachau Memorial Half-Day Tour from Munich (Early-Start). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Munich?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Munich?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
