Private Departure Transfer: Algarve Hotels to Faro Airport

Uber is far cheaper and far far more reliable.

MTS Globe did not, in my opinion, allow sufficient time for a comfortable transfer from our hotel to Faro airport. When they then didn't show up on time I called them and was told to ring back in 5 minutes. When they had still failed to show up, I called them a further 3 times. On each occasion, the lady hung up on me. My advice is NOT to use MTS Global, they are unreliable and unhelpful. Besides that they charged €109 for the return trip which was actual only €25 each way with Uber, so definitely a rip off as well.

Failed to show up for private return airport transfer

Will never use again. Arranged a private return transfer from Faro airport to hotel, and back a week later as part of our Expedia holiday booking. On arrival at Faro airport we went to the designated desk and waited 10 minutes for taxi to arrive. Journey to hotel was fine. 48hrs before the end of our holiday I contacted the provider using the email address I had been told to use for correspondence to confirm pick up time. I asked for an 8am hotel pick up time, and was then asked if 8.40 was ok. I said no as Faro airport queues can be long and this would have been cutting it fine, and so they agreed to 8am and I received a full confirmation email with details saying driver would be at our hotel reception for 8am. On the morning of our departure we were in our hotel reception 15 mins before collection time, it got to 8am no sign. 8.10am still nothing so I phoned both phone numbers provided in confirmation email, including an ‘emergency number’. One number went straight to voicemail. The emergency phone rang and went to voicemail. So much for having an emergency number! We waited 30 minutes in total but had to arrange another taxi at our own cost as we had a flight to catch. A stressful end to our holiday. The private airport transfer was not cheap, and we purposely chose a private one vs shared so that we wouldn’t be waiting around for multiple collections. I have since contacted the company about a refund, and I am waiting on a response.

Terrible Service

Our driver never arrived at Crowne Plaza hotel Vilamoura to take us back to airport for our departure flight. After calling numerous times was told to take a taxi with no explanation of where driver was and why they didnt show. Nearly missed our flight due to this and the stress/hassle/finincial cost implication for taxi to airport was a disgrace. Add the fact we have a 2 year old daughter to run through the airport with, only addedd to the shambolic disaster they call a service. Will never use this service again, absaloutley farcical. Jason

Excellent service with Roberto of the Prodigio travel agency. Arrived on time, air-conditioned and internet in taxi. Gave us.uptodate flight info and check in desk before arrival

This service is absolutely disgusting, I expect a full refund considering YOU DID NOT EVEN TURN UP. Avoid this company like the bubonic plague!!!
