Lets start with a WOW moment. The Pradera de San Marcos is located right at the foot of the Alcazar de Segovia, which rises imposingly on a promontory. It gives the impression of being a ship (more like its bow) embedded high on a rock. The best view is obtained from this meadow.

Segovia - the perfect day trip from Madrid
We did the private tour of Segovia with Yanny. Great trip. He is good at "reading the room," asking questions about what we would like to see and then tailoring the tour to our tastes. Much better than a bus tour. Yanny was a walking encyclopedia. We enjoyed having a lunch of suckling pig with him as well, they handled all the details. If you are staying in Madrid, Segovia was the perfect day trip and Yanny was the perfect guide.
Response from the operator: Hi Rob, thank you for your nice comment. I will pass your review to Yanny as he will very much appreciate it. Please do contact us next time in Spain, Portugal or Italy. We will be glad to serve you again. Have a great day, Carlos

Spain trip
Letango tours planned our trip to Spain which included Madrid, Granada and Cordoba. The individual tours in each city were great. The guides were both informative and fun. We would plan another trip with Letango.
Response from the operator: Thank you Claudia for trusting us with the Spain trip for your family. I am very glad you and your family enjoyed the bespoke trip we planned for you. Please keep us in mind when you come back to Spain, Portugal or Italy where we are starting to plan trips.

BEST Day Trip out of Madrid EVER!!!❤️
Yanney our tour guide on a day trip to Segovia from Madrid was AMAZING!!!! He was extremely friendly, personal, spoke excellent English and very knowledgeable of his favorite city Segovia. The Alcazar and the walk through the aqueduct and walled city were amazing!!! Highly recommend this tour and Yanney!
Response from the operator: Thank you Roy. This is the best reward to our work of planning tours, selecting and training guides as well as making sure your travel preferences are met by customizing the tours. We look forward to having you visit again. Best regards, Carlos

What a wonderful way to see Segovia!
What a wonderful way to see Segovia! Our guide Javier picked us up promptly at our hotel in Madrid for a drive through the rolling plains of Spain in a very comfortable van. Our first stop was next to a hiking trail where we got the most beautiful view of the Alcázar. We then drove around to the Roman aqueduct which was incredible. Javier told us it was in use until the 1970's. Javier then guided us through Old City pointing out various highlights. He wound us through the Plaza Mayor - a lovely square with its magnificent Cathedral - to the Alcázar which is a real treasure. After the Alcázar we had a charming late lunch before our trip back to Madrid. A day we will not forget!
Response from the operator: Scott, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with everyone. I will pass your great comments onto Javier who will be very excited to hear. Thank you again for making our job so enjoyable. All my best. Carlos Founder of Letango Tours

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Day Trip to Segovia: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.
How much does Private Day Trip to Segovia cost?
+
Prices start at $151 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Day Trip to Segovia take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.
Is Private Day Trip to Segovia worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Day Trip to Segovia?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Day Trip to Segovia suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Day Trip to Segovia?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Day Trip to Segovia start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Madrid?
+
On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Madrid?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Madrid?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
