The perfect trip if you want to see it all!

This is THE perfect trip for experiencing some of the best Sri Lanka has to offer! It covers everything - stunning landscape and mountaintop towns in and around Ella, a hike up Little Adam’s Peak (one of the highlights of the trip- the views were amazing), the insightful cultural experience of visiting the tea plantations, and swimming with turtles in Hikkaduwa. From experience, Happy Turtle Travels are the best in the game, I’ve been on a few of their trips and they are always amazing. The guides have been in the game for years so they know all the best routes and stops along the way - making for the most smooth, scenic, and enjoyable journey. Getting dropped off in Hikkaduwa at the end was perfect- amazing beach (with turtles!), great food and bars, a perfect way to end a busy day. Overall, an unforgettable experience from start to finish!

+

When is the best time to visit Hikkaduwa?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hikkaduwa?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
