So much more than just a Tour Guide!
We originally booked a tour with Basma to Abu Simbel for the day before we were to board a Long Nile Cruise in Aswan. We got our tour, and it was absolutely fantastic! Basma's knowledge of Egypt, both past and present is incredible, and she obviously loves to share it with visitors. Her English was phenomenal, and her out-going personality absolutely perfect for a tour guide! I would not have changed a single thing about our tour with her. But as amazing as that day was, Basma, herself, was even more amazing. Once we had booked our tour with her, she was in contact with us, answering questions and offering help with whatever we might need. She helped us find a good hotel near where our cruise would be leaving, made our reservations there, picked us up at the Aswan Airport early the morning of our arrival, transported us to our hotel, got us checked in and up to our room well before check-in time for a much needed rest after 2 days of flying, picked us back up that evening to take us to dinner and a stroll through the market place, got us to our ship the day after our trip to Abu Simbel, and then came back to visit us on the ship that evening to bring us some distilled water she had secured for my husband's C-PAP machine and gifts. In short, she started out as our Tour Guide, but ended up as our friend! We simply cannot say enough good things about Basma!

Amazing Two Days in Aswan and Abu Simbel
We had the pleasure of having Basma as our guide for a day in Aswan and a day trip to Abu Simbel. Her love of history and culture was infectious. A gifted storyteller, her overview of Abu Simbel, its creation, and its recent rescue made the 3 hour car ride fly by. Importantly, she did an excellent job of describing what to look for and what we would see inside the two temples before we arrived, which added a depth to our experience that was incredibly helpful. Beyond sharing the facts about the places we visited, Basma shared her love of Aswan and Egypt. Her passion came through in our conversations and her compassion was evident in the many ways she cared for us and the many animals we encountered on our travels. We had several people tell us that Basma is the best tour guide in Aswan.... and I think they must be right. You will be extremely fortunate if you can learn from and laugh with Basma during your travels.

The best Egyptian tour experience!
Well, I met Ebstesam on a FB group and hired her because she seemed super wise and intelligent. And I would like to say that she really over delivered. Her knowledge of Egypt and its symbolism is so vast. We hired her for 8 days to tour the entire country. Ebstesam knows everyone and even hooked us up to visit Abu Simbel on Oct 22 for the Super Sun alignment. We were two Chicago girls in with only 100 dignitaries allowed into the temple for this grand moment. It was unbelievablly breathtaking! I highly recommend her tours. She also booked all of our interior flights and put is in the best hotels. Hot air baloon rides over the Valley of the Kings was incredibl. The trip was effortless and flowed like the Nile! I highly recommend her a your Egyptian guide!

Best time with Tanora Tours.
This was the second time we toured Egypt with Tanora Tours. They arranged all of our transport needs in Aswan, Luxor and Cairo. Whatever you need they will make it happen. I’ve been to Egypt 3 times now and every time the experience gets better and better. Having a guide is a must to experience all Egypt has to offer. Our guide Basma was truly the best. At this point she is family. I look for forward to returning soon.

Experience the true story behind the scene
Asma is an outstanding guide. She did not only tell us the story of the dynasties but also the story behind the scenes. Which enabled us to better understand what we witnessed in both temples of Abou Simbel. Amazing stories about contemporary Egypt too. We warmly recommend her (and the nice driver). Warm regards from Belgium!
Response from the operator: Dear our valued customer Thank you for your support and we would like to inform that we are taking every measure to ensure better service and greater customer satisfaction at all time. Best regards, Tanora Egypt Tours.

How many days do you need in Aswan?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
