    Worst service ever

I am requesting a refund for my tour. Patel was very nice but was not knowledgeable as a tour guide. I could never recommend him as a guide to anyone else. It was a real disappointment, especially for the price I paid. He took us to Pisa but provided us no guidance. We had to change the schedule because the weather was not the greatest and panel said my husband could not do the town in cinque terre, even the most accessible. He to San Giammo however, it was just a shopping trip because he could not tell any history or significance of the town. Next, we went to sienna and was the same thing. He had us walk across the horse track and didn’t know what was and they were due to have a race that day. we spent 12 hours with him and he did not even find or offer a place to eat at either spot. 12 hours and no food. Other tours we did made us resection for restaurants, made arrangements for porter service to assist my husband and arranged tickets to monuments w a guide. Tracey

Response from the operator: Dear Tracey, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to read this review, but we believe it is important to clarify what was actually included in the experience you booked. This experience is clearly described as a **private sightseeing day trip with an English-speaking driver, not a licensed tour guide**. The description specifically states: “Friendly English-speaking driver, not a licensed guide, but happy to share his knowledge.” Licensed guiding services, restaurant reservations, porter services, monument tickets and meals are not included in this product. During your trip, the original Cinque Terre itinerary was adjusted because of the weather conditions and, most importantly, concerns regarding your husband's limited mobility. Our driver believed that visiting the coastal villages under those conditions could be difficult and potentially unsafe. The itinerary was therefore adapted to offer a more comfortable alternative. In Siena, the driver even arranged local taxi transportation to make sightseeing easier for your husband and helped you visit the main areas of the city. According to the driver, there was no indication during the day that you were dissatisfied with the arrangements, and our 24/7 customer support was not contacted with any complaint or request for assistance. We fully respect that the experience may not have met your personal expectations. However, many of the services criticized in this review — particularly having a professional tour guide, arranging restaurant reservations, porter assistance and monument tickets — were simply not part of the experience purchased. The full private transportation service was provided, the itinerary was adapted for safety and accessibility, and the driver made additional efforts to accommodate your group. For these reasons, while we are sorry that your expectations were different, we do not believe this review accurately reflects the service that was booked and provided. My Europe Journey
