A nice cultural getaway from Berlin with the company we trust
Very nice tour to take with a family. After our 2 other tours that we booked with this company we didn't even think where to order a new one so we immediately contacted the same company that organised activities for us in France. We arrived in Berlin for 3 days and one of the days we wanted to go out. Between the concentration vsmp Pots dam and Dresden we chose the latter one and we're very happy we did. It used to be a cultural capital of Germany. We finally saw Raphael in real life and learnt so much info about the WW2 time. Definitely recommend this activity.

Beautiful day outside Berlin
Everything about this day felt easy. Communication before the tour was clear and friendly, pickup was right on time, and the car was super clean and comfortable (which matters when you're out all day wouldn’t you agree?). Our guide was fantastic, warm, knowledgeable without overwhelming us with facts, and knew exactly when to give space and when to share. We weren’t rushed at all, had time to explore properly, and still got back feeling relaxed. If you’re looking for a private experience that’s well-paced, thoughtful, and with a company that really cares about your day going well - this is a great choice. Highly recommend.

Terrible !
This trip was cancelled hours before it was to take place. The tour operator told me that it was booked “short notice” and therefore only a partial refund was offered. In fact, it was booked a few days before it was scheduled. No mention of potential penalties incurred by the traveler with a short notice reservation, or even what constitutes “short notice” could be found. How far in advance must you plan a day tour when traveling in a foreign place? I then received a notice that I had to confirm our pickup spot, but this was not possible to do on the app and reaching anyone to confirm this proved extremely difficult as only phone numbers that were “not assigned” were provided. Although I did finally find a general phone number (and I would not be able to retrace the steps I went through to find that number), the person I reached told me that the pickup spot was already noted on our reservation. Even now, I can find no way to reach anyone to discuss my situation. Alas, I can only warn others that this tour should be avoided. For myself I will not book aTripadvisor tour again.

Thank you for this day
This is a hide experience that this tour company managed to organise the last minute since our train to Dresden was cancelled for no reason. Before we could get disappointed we remembered our previous tour with this company and we decided to check if there was anything’s they could do. They LITERALLY organised everything the last minute and made our day

Why this scores 47
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Day Tour in Dresden and Moritzburg from Berlin: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Berlin.
How much does Private Day Tour in Dresden and Moritzburg from Berlin cost?
+
Prices start at $1170 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Berlin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Day Tour in Dresden and Moritzburg from Berlin take?
+
Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Berlin is not rushed.
Is Private Day Tour in Dresden and Moritzburg from Berlin worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Berlin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Day Tour in Dresden and Moritzburg from Berlin?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Day Tour in Dresden and Moritzburg from Berlin suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Day Tour in Dresden and Moritzburg from Berlin?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Berlin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Berlin and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Day Tour in Dresden and Moritzburg from Berlin start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Berlin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Berlin?
+
On Outty we rank every Berlin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Berlin's Best: 2 Hour Walking Tour Third Reich and the Cold War, Communist East Berlin and Berlin Wall Small Group Walking Tour, Sachsenhausen concentration camp.. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Berlin?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Berlin?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
