    The Best Day in Italy!

We booked a private boat tour with Lorenzo for June 27th for our group of 11. The day was a highlight of our 2 weeks in Italy. Both Captain Giovanni and his assistant Erika, went above and beyond to make sure we all had a fantastic day. We visited Positano, stopped for lunch at a beach club and also stopped in Amalfi with some time for swimming here and there along the way. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Poor Customer Service and Lack if Business Integrity

Blue Dream Rental Boats Via Molo Manfredi , pontili Gatto (sottostante, P.za della Libertà, 84121 Salerno SA, Italy Unfortunately, Lorenzo Sica of Blue Dream Boat Rentals/Tours has refused to refund the 200€ deposit made for 2 boats on 6/10/26. Due to circumstances beyond our control, Enchanted Princess had to change the Salerno port stop for 6/10/26 and we stopped at Naples instead. We were notified of this change the evening before on 6/9/26. We were therefore unable to meet Lorenzo for our day of boating. I informed Lorenzo about this change immediately after i was made aware of it. I kindly asked for a deposit refund due to these unforeseen circumstances. In addition prior to booking i had discussed unforeseen conditions such as weather or inability to meet with Lorenzo and he indicated there wouldn’t be any problem with refund. Unfortunately i didn’t have this in writing but had read previous reviews and didn’t think this would be a problem. I have attached a copy of the letter received from Princess in the evening if 6/9/26 I want other potential customers to be aware of what I believe is a very poor example of customer service as well as lack of integrity shown by Blue Dream Boat Rentals. (I had hoped the refund situation could have been rectified, but Blue Dream Boat Rentals has continued to ignore my requests for a refund Respectfully submitted by SM

    Amazing experience!!

Touring the Amalfi Coast from the water is priceless! Vale cada Euro! Lorenzo was super friendly and always well disposed! We rent a Cayman with skipper from 9:30am to 5:30pm. Our skipper Federico a genius! He gave us information about every town we passed, the domes of its churches and all the natural beauties of the sea and its coast. We disembarked in Positano and waited for an hour and a half for us to tour and enjoy. The flawless boat! All new! Very grateful!

Best Tour To See The Amalfi Coast

Our boat tour was one of the top highlights of our 3 week trip to Italy. Lorenzo was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond from the moment we booked, weeks prior to traveling to Italy. He arranged a private van to pick us up and drop us back off. The tour up the Amalfi Coast was breathtaking. We stopped in a cove and got to swim. Our captain and host were on top of our every need and wish. They slowed the boat and let us really enjoy the beauty of the coastline. We stopped in Positano for a few hours and got to enjoy shopping and lunch. They supplied water, beer, aperol spritz, champagne, snacks, and caprese sandwiches along the way. We have driven the Amalfi Coast in the past. I have to say that Blue Dream Boat Tours is the best way to go. I can't begin to express how amazing Lorenzo and all his staff are.

Private day tour Amalfi Coast: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Salerno.

How much does Private day tour Amalfi Coast cost?

    +

Prices start at $1658 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Salerno usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private day tour Amalfi Coast take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Salerno is not rushed.

Is Private day tour Amalfi Coast worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Salerno, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private day tour Amalfi Coast?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private day tour Amalfi Coast suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private day tour Amalfi Coast?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Salerno can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Salerno and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private day tour Amalfi Coast start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Salerno within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Salerno?

    +

On Outty we rank every Salerno experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Amalfi Coast Experience from Sorrento, Naples or Salerno, Small-Group Amalfi Coast Day Cruise from Positano, Amalfi Coast Boat tour Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Salerno?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Salerno?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
