Prívate cooking class!
wonderful experience! We felt very comfortable. The dinner, was delicious, and Saúl was amazing, explaining every step of the process with great patience and enthusiasm. Thank you so much for everything! It was definitely an experience we would love to repeat. ❤️
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm really glad the whole family enjoyed the dinner and felt comfortable throughout the process – it's always special cooking with kids too and seeing them get involved. It was a pleasure having you all here. You'll be very welcome back anytime!

Great experience, would do it again!! Highly recommend.
Truly enjoyed our private cooking class. One member gluten free, had read other reviews of how careful Saul was, and he took extreme precautions. He arranged the menu to our desires, we learned how to make a delicious gluten free fettuccini with cherry tomatoes, then a beautiful ribeye with potatoes and a homemade dolce de Leche ice cream. Wine was two different bottles but great regional Malbec’s. Very casual, friendly atmosphere in his well designed home kitchen for doing cooking classes.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for this lovely review! It means a lot that the gluten-free precautions felt genuinely careful, not just checked off a list. Really glad the fettuccini, ribeye, and dulce de leche ice cream all landed well, and that the Malbecs did their job too. It was a pleasure having the three of you in the kitchen. Hope to cook with you again next time you're in Buenos Aires!

A True Argentina Experience!
We did a private cooking class and wine tasting with Saul on January 1st, 2026. It was a highlight of our trip to South America. There were just 2 couples and it was perfect! The format of the class was intimate and so enjoyable. The conversation personable, and we learned such interesting tidbits about South American food and culture. Saul shared a special bottle of wine (or two!) with us and the food was fantastic! We will look forward to sharing these recipes with family back in the USA. This was a true Argentinian gem and so glad we shared this time with Saul in Buenos Aires. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really happy to hear the private cooking class and wine tasting was a highlight of your trip. It was a pleasure hosting you both couples—keeping it small and intimate is exactly the experience I aim for. I’m glad you enjoyed the food, the wines, and the conversation about South American culture, and I hope you have a great time sharing the recipes back home in the USA. Thanks again for choosing this little Buenos Aires gem—hope to welcome you back someday!

Awesome!
Chef Saul is an affable & patient teacher. He accommodated me by getting kosher meat for my lesson, which means he is a caring & generous person. I highly recommend you take a cooking class with him when visiting Buenos Aires. You won't be disappointed.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the lovely review! I really enjoyed having you here. I’m glad we could do it with kosher meat and still keep everything fun (and delicious 😄). All the best, Saul

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Cooking Class & Premium Argentine Wine Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.
How much does Private Cooking Class & Premium Argentine Wine Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $175 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Cooking Class & Premium Argentine Wine Experience take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.
Is Private Cooking Class & Premium Argentine Wine Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Cooking Class & Premium Argentine Wine Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Cooking Class & Premium Argentine Wine Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Cooking Class & Premium Argentine Wine Experience?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Cooking Class & Premium Argentine Wine Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?
+
On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Private Cooking Class & Premium Argentine Wine Experience?
+
Included: Dinner. Not included: Gratuities. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

What languages is Private Cooking Class & Premium Argentine Wine Experience offered in?
+
