    Incredible Family Experience

Of all the tour experiences we have ever done as a family, this one will stand out. Being picked up and led by David was like having a friend show you around which made it so different from more traditional tours. And then being welcomed into the home of Lucia and Antonio was like being welcomed as family. We enjoyed amazing homecooked food of wonderfully fresh ingredients and my children were treated as they would be by grandparents. Lucia is the abuela everyone needs - radiating love and welcome. It was also so nice to observe the loving relationship between Lucia/Antonio and David and to have a view into the history of a family who has shared this home for 200 years. Just incredible. One of my favorite things was witnessing how friendship and welcome can transcend language - David was an extremely able translator but so many things didn't need to be translated. This experience will be a treasured family memory. Thank you to David, Lucia and Antonio - you made a big impact on us!

Response from the operator: Hi Jamie, this is Lucia, I'm overwhelmed by such lovely words. My parents Antonio and Lucia enjoyed it very much too. I send you all lots of kisses and a big hug. It was certainly a very special, authentic and local activity, where you discover that Andalusian gastronomy goes beyond certain stereotypes. I hope that one day we can see each other again. Best wishes LUCIA

    Best experience ever

We had the greatest day with Antonio, Lucia, and David. We felt so welcomed into their home and had a wonderful time experiencing a day in the life with them. The food was delicious and we had so much fun making it.

Response from the operator: Hi Rachel, Thank you very much for such incredible words. Antonio and Lucia send you a big hug. Thank you very much for trusting us. As you know, our company is distinguished by showing the authentic and avoiding the stereotypes of Spain. I hope to see you again one day best !

    Andalusian Cooking Experience

This cooking experience exceeded our expectations. Hosted by David, our driver and Lucia and Antonio who welcomed us into their home and cooked us a typical Andalusian meal. This was a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend. We were made to feel very welcome in their home.

Response from the operator: Hola ! David and the family (Antonio and Lucia) also enjoyed a lot. We try to show the authenticity of each place and better than a home in a fun, playful and off the beaten path. Best !!

    Unique Opportunity

This is a unique and special opportunity to see behind the doors of a local family's home. They were wonderful, funny, generous. Everyone participated in the cooking- and the eating and drinking! It was done and prepared with love and care.

Response from the operator: Beautiful words that I don't really know what to answer. Just say THANK YOU. Tourism must be real, authentic, avoiding stereotypes and showing what it really is. There are many topics about gastronomy. Spain is not only paella and sangria. I am very glad that you enjoyed it. Antonio and Lucia send you a big hug Miguel

    Local culture at its best

David, our guide, picked us up promptly at 11 and the day began. We went to the market in Triana and also did a small walking tour. We shopped with him for the lunch groceries and he was able to give us a lot of history of the area. We had been there the day before by ourselves and this was so much better. Then we went to a wonderful couple's home and were welcomed warmly. Even with the language barrier, we enjoyed visiting and cooking. We even got to visit the bakery across the street and had a behind the scenes tour. We would highly recommend!

Private Cooking Class in Traditional Andalusian Housing: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seville.

How much does Private Cooking Class in Traditional Andalusian Housing cost?

    +

Prices start at $470 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Cooking Class in Traditional Andalusian Housing take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seville is not rushed.

Is Private Cooking Class in Traditional Andalusian Housing worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Cooking Class in Traditional Andalusian Housing?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Cooking Class in Traditional Andalusian Housing suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Cooking Class in Traditional Andalusian Housing?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seville and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Cooking Class in Traditional Andalusian Housing start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seville?

    +

On Outty we rank every Seville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Seville Tapas Crawl Tour by Food Lover Tour, Seville: Paella & Tapas Cooking Class + Triana Market Tour, Sevilla Food Tour: Tapas, Wine, History & Traditions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seville?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seville?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
