Yummy Home Made Pasta
Thank You Christian for such a fun time, learning to make & eat the 3 pastas..Trying your house made Limoncello, was excellent!! You make it so easy. My husband had a blast, & he doesn't cook much. Your knowledge of Italian history was an extra bonus. Thank You again. If in Rome again, I would take your gluten free pasta class.. & visit your restaurant. Big Hug, Good Luck Becky & Vic LoBue
Response from the operator: Dear Becky & Vic, thank you so much for your wonderful message — it brought a big smile to my face! I’m truly happy that our pasta evening turned into such a fun and memorable experience for both of you. Seeing Vic enjoy himself in the kitchen (even if he doesn’t cook much!) was one of the highlights of the night. Moments like that remind me why I love teaching. I’m delighted that you enjoyed learning — and eating — the three pasta dishes, and that my homemade limoncello made a good impression… it has a reputation, and I’m glad it lived up to it! Sharing a bit of Italian history along the way is something I care about deeply, so hearing that you appreciated that extra touch means a lot. If you ever try the recipes at home and need a tip, a clarification, or a little “Christian‑style” encouragement, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to help my guests continue their culinary journey even from afar. And of course, if you return to Rome, I would be thrilled to welcome you again — whether for the gluten‑free pasta class or at my restaurant. There will always be a seat, a smile, and a good glass of wine waiting for you. Big hug back to both of you, and thank you again for your kindness. Warm regards, Christian Righi

Cooking Class would do it again
Christian was very knowledgeable and very nice.. my husband and I totally enjoyed the experience..I would go again. Especially since its private, no others, he can concentrate on customers. Totally hands on

The ultimate honeymoon and pasta lovers experience!
Chef Christian was absolutely amazing! So welcoming from the first moment and the class was fantastic! We went through all the details of how to cook pasta, why do or don't do things, and of course the most important note, cream is a crime! I highly recommend coming here and enjoying a fantastic meal!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this fantastic review — it truly made my morning! I’m delighted to hear that you felt welcomed from the very first moment and that the class was such a great experience for you. Walking together through every detail — the how, the why, and of course the sacred rule that “cream is a crime” — is exactly what makes teaching pasta so much fun. Your enthusiasm in the kitchen made everything even more enjoyable. Sharing tips, techniques, and a few laughs along the way is what turns a simple class into a memorable meal, and I’m thrilled it felt that way for you. If you’re ever craving more Roman cooking magic, the door is always open. Thank you again for the warmth, the energy, and the recommendation.

Fabulous Pasta Class with Cristian
If you are looking for the perfect cooking class to take with family or friends, this is the one to go to. Cristian is a gem and will make you feel at home from the start. He taught my daughter and I plus a new friend. Joanna, how to make Fettucini, gnocchi and tagliatelle. He was kind, patient and had a great sense of humor. He made us feel so comfortable and we truly enjoyed our class. The food was outstanding and we even were able to take some to go. Run, don’t walk.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review. It was a real pleasure welcoming you, your daughter, and Joanna to the class. I’m truly glad to hear that you felt at home from the very beginning — creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere is something I care deeply about. I’m happy you enjoyed making fettuccine, gnocchi, and tagliatelle, and that the experience felt fun, comfortable, and memorable for all of you. Knowing that the food was outstanding and that you even took some home makes me smile. Your kind words mean a lot. Thank you again for choosing this experience and for recommending it so warmly. Warm regards, Christian Roma Gourmet Experience

Amazing pasta making experience
My daughter and I had the best time during our private cooking class. It was small with one other lovely woman. We learned how to make gnocchi, fettuccini and tagliatelle together. Christian, our instructor, was helpful, patient and funny. I would highly recommend this experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely words! It was a real pleasure welcoming you and your daughter into the kitchen. I’m delighted you enjoyed making gnocchi, fettuccine, and tagliatelle together — and even happier that the laughter flowed as easily as the pasta dough. Sharing this experience with curious, joyful guests like you is what makes these classes truly special. I’m grateful for your recommendation and hope our paths cross again for another delicious adventure in Rome.

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Cooking Class in the Heart of Rome 3 types of Pasta and Wine: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.
How much does Private Cooking Class in the Heart of Rome 3 types of Pasta and Wine cost?
+
Prices start at $59 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Cooking Class in the Heart of Rome 3 types of Pasta and Wine take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.
Is Private Cooking Class in the Heart of Rome 3 types of Pasta and Wine worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 50 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Cooking Class in the Heart of Rome 3 types of Pasta and Wine?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Cooking Class in the Heart of Rome 3 types of Pasta and Wine suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Cooking Class in the Heart of Rome 3 types of Pasta and Wine?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Cooking Class in the Heart of Rome 3 types of Pasta and Wine start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rome?
+
Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rome?
+
April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rome?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
