About this experience

If you want to live a unique and immersive experience, "La Sala della Musica" is for you and allows you to enter the artist's house and live a private concert in close contact with the artists in a suggestive location, where the beauty of nature blends with the artist's mastery. It will be possible to immerse yourself in nature and music in the land of Giacomo Puccini and Luigi Boccherini in an ancient eighteenth-century farmhouse with a privileged view of the towers of Lucca. To ensure an intimate and family atmosphere, a maximum of 15 people will be accommodated at a time. We will offer a welcome glass of local red wine and other local products. Seeing performers play at a distance of just over a meter is an unusual experience, impossible to create in the theater or auditorium; for this reason the emotional impact will be amplified.

An extraordinary experience

It was truly a unique experience. It is not every day that you can listen to music played by professional musicians in an intimate group (8 people during our visit). The musicians (Elisa and Augusto) could not have been kinder and more accommodating to the guests. The location might be a bit difficult to find on your own, but they pick up guests in Lucca to take them to the concert and bring them back to Lucca afterward. We will definitely return for another wonderful evening during our next trip to Lucca.

A Wonderful musical experience

A magnificent night in the company of two incredibly talented musicians. Rarely is it possible to be so close to this level of genius . The atmosphere and feel they have created within their own home is lovely, we truly were made to feel like family friends. To add to that the views of the Tuscan countryside from the front of their home are breathtaking. Magnificent when relaxing pre concert with a glass of local red wine and cheese. Let’s be clear these are two individually gifted people who can play to a high level in their own right, however I believe their performance is enhanced by not only their passion for the music they showcase but their obvious passion for each other. Please go, it is truly a wonderful and intimate experience.

Wonderful experience

I recommend this wonderful experience to all lovers of good wine and good music. The view is enchanting, as is the artists' residence. They welcomed us into their garden, offering us an aperitif of local products and then enchanted us with a private viola piano concert. A unique experience.

If you are in Lucca, don't miss out on this.

Intimate and powerful. Some of the best musical talent Italy has to offer in a close and personal setting. Lucca has a long history of being home to authentic musical culture, The Artists' House is a part of that history.

Wonderfull all inn experience

Last week we booked a last minute concert in “La sala della musica” in Lucca Italy. It took us some time to spot the place that is located in the middle of lovely Toscane nature where we had a very warm and friendly welcome by our hostess Elisa Racioppi and host Augusto Vismara. We had an excellent degustation of Italian wines and small bites. After that we enjoyed an excellent piano and violin concert in their private sala della musica. Being so close with these two highly professional artists was an experience never to forget. All this is a must-see and -feel and -hear, but only for people that love art professionalism combined with honest familiarity. Lieven& Annick Missinne

Private Concert in the Artist's House on the Hills of Lucca: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lucca.

How much does Private Concert in the Artist's House on the Hills of Lucca cost?

+

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lucca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Concert in the Artist's House on the Hills of Lucca take?

+

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lucca is not rushed.

Is Private Concert in the Artist's House on the Hills of Lucca worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Lucca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Concert in the Artist's House on the Hills of Lucca?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Concert in the Artist's House on the Hills of Lucca suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Concert in the Artist's House on the Hills of Lucca?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lucca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lucca and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Concert in the Artist's House on the Hills of Lucca start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lucca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lucca?

+

On Outty we rank every Lucca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lucca: Wine Tasting Experience - Tenuta Adamo Winery, Lucca’s Ultimate Food Tour: Full Tuscan Meal by Do Eat Better, Tuscan Wine Tour in Lucca by van. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lucca?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lucca?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
