Great experience..Top day!
We have just got back from our trip with Mark, all I can say is, it was fabulous and it didn't disappoint and I would 110% recommend booking with them...Mark was so nice and you could tell with 19 years experience he had a vast amount of knowledge. Mark didn't rush the tour, he was happy to stop so we could take photos and he even took photos himself which he sent over straightaway. A top experience all round...thank you Mark...JD and Fee

AWESOME tour!!! Worth every penny!!
The van was clean and spacious. The pickup location (Farmer’s Market) was a really cool and safe place. We actually got there 3 hours early to check that place out. Excellent food and good shopping. We met Mark in the afternoon and began our adventure. I feel like we drove all over town. We covered all the bases and checked all the boxes for Hollywood/Beverly Hills and then some. The tour is scripted with Mark talking and a big TV screen in the van, but there are plenty of time for questions and off script conversations. The pictures and clips Mark shows on his big screen really enhance the trip. Mark also takes a lot of pictures of your group and will send them to you…so you can sit back and enjoy the trip and still have cool pictures when it’s done. It’s a well thought out tour by a private guide (small business owner) who really knows the ins and outs of Hollywood and the surrounding areas. I highly recommend this tour!!

The Entertainer’s tour of Hollywood and LA
We saw celebrity homes and heard anecdotes about many movie stars and music legends; we visited Laurel Canyon, Hollywood Bowl, Capital Records and the famous recording studios, Greystone Mansion…….too many sites to mention. Mark is a master entertainer and his multimedia tour with music and video is fabulous. His van is comfortable and afforded great visibility as we toured around; but the most outstanding part of the tour is Mark himself with all the history and background he provides. Hearing the music as he talked about famous rock stars was such a plus. He also took pictures and shared many photos with us at the end of the tour, We had a group of 5 adults and one small dog and we all agree Mark is the best.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the glowing review! From the Walk of Fame to Beverly Hills, we love sharing the best of LA, and we’re thrilled you enjoyed it. We love dogs at Legends Of Hollywood Tours. Until next time!

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private City Tour of Los Angeles, Hollywood and Beverly Hills: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Angeles.
How much does Private City Tour of Los Angeles, Hollywood and Beverly Hills cost?
+
Prices start at $790 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Angeles usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private City Tour of Los Angeles, Hollywood and Beverly Hills take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Angeles is not rushed.
Is Private City Tour of Los Angeles, Hollywood and Beverly Hills worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 52 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Angeles, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private City Tour of Los Angeles, Hollywood and Beverly Hills?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private City Tour of Los Angeles, Hollywood and Beverly Hills suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private City Tour of Los Angeles, Hollywood and Beverly Hills?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Angeles can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Angeles and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private City Tour of Los Angeles, Hollywood and Beverly Hills start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Angeles within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Los Angeles?
+
Los Angeles rewards travellers who cluster their bookings by geography rather than by theme. Studio tours and Hollywood walks sit inland, the Malibu and Santa Monica coast runs west, and Griffith Observatory and the canyon hikes work best at dawn or dusk. We weight transport clarity in the ranking here: whether pickup is included changes an LA day more than the tour itself. On Outty we rank every Los Angeles experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hollywood Sign 2.5-Hour Tour with Comedians and Their Dogs, Los Angeles Hollywood Sign Hike: Front, Behind, and Expert Guide, Los Angeles Original 90-Minute Walking Tour to The Hollywood Sign. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Los Angeles?
+
March to May and September to November, for clear air and open canyon roads. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Los Angeles?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
