The best experience we had in Italy!
Best experience we had in Italy! The tour is well thought out, you see a lot but don’t feel rushed or pressured. The wineries you visit give you a personal experience with family wine makers and owners. I can’t recommend the tour enough, Romona is easy to talk to, knowledgeable and has a close personal relationship with the wineries so you’re treated like a friend when you arrive. If you want to see real, family owned, quality Tuscan wineries this is the tour for you.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Hope to see you again .

Simone provided excellent...
Simone provided excellent insight and historical information about the Chianti wine region and its origins in the history of the area between Florence and Siena. He was a safe driver and made our experience very comfortable and interesting. The two wineries were charming, welcoming, and delicious!

An unforgettable day!
We had the absolute best time on our winery tour, all thanks to our incredible driver and guide. She was incredibly friendly, warm, and brought so much local knowledge to the experience, making the journey between the two stunning wineries just as fun as the tastings themselves. She is a true professional who goes above and beyond for her guests. To top off an already perfect day, she sent us home with a wonderful, handcrafted parting gift that she makes herself. We tried it as soon as we got home, and it is absolutely AMAZING—you are so talented! If you want an authentic, seamless, and deeply knowledgeable guide in Italy, book her immediately.

A beautiful day in the country side
If you’re looking for the perfect Tuscany experience, I cannot recommend our guide enough! From the moment they picked us up at the Florence train station, everything was seamless. They took us through the beautiful Tuscan countryside for an incredible wine tour, shared so much local knowledge, and made the entire day feel special. The highlight was a stunning dinner overlooking breathtaking Tuscan views that looked straight out of a postcard. What truly set them apart was how they went above and beyond throughout the day—making sure every detail was perfect, accommodating our requests, and creating an unforgettable experience from start to finish. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Five stars isn’t enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Chianti Classico Wine Tasting Tour in Two Family Wineries: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Private Chianti Classico Wine Tasting Tour in Two Family Wineries cost?
+
Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Chianti Classico Wine Tasting Tour in Two Family Wineries take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Private Chianti Classico Wine Tasting Tour in Two Family Wineries worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Chianti Classico Wine Tasting Tour in Two Family Wineries?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Chianti Classico Wine Tasting Tour in Two Family Wineries suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Chianti Classico Wine Tasting Tour in Two Family Wineries?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Chianti Classico Wine Tasting Tour in Two Family Wineries start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
