Do NOT BOOK 🚫🚫🚫🚫 extra charges

Please make sure you read everything before booking anything in Miami! DO NOT BOOK!!!! Extra charges 🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫We had to find our own captain to drive the boat and pay 100 dollars. I also had to pay 50 to the guy that was on the boat when we arrived. He basically said it’s because he was there to explain stuff about the boat which made no significant sense because he was just trying to steal 50 dollars. They send you these things the morning of the booking or the day before to book your captain and stuff. Why would you send me information that’s important to my booking the night before or the morning off? That’s simply to manipulate you because it’s too late to cancel the booking. Hater the experience and he tried to make everybody put a good review in for him at the end of the boat ride. Please do not book.

Response from the operator: We take reviews seriously; however, this review does not accurately represent what occurred. All required fees, including the captain and marina fees, are clearly disclosed in the listing’s description and exclusions before a customer completes their reservation. Our representative was simply collecting the $50 marina fee stated in the listing. No one was attempting to “steal” money or add an undisclosed charge. The main issue arose because the customer arrived late for their scheduled reservation and expected their full rental time to begin upon arrival. Customers select a specific departure time when booking, and that is when the reserved rental period begins. Unfortunately, we cannot extend a reservation due to a late arrival, especially when other bookings may follow. During this disagreement, the customer threatened us with a negative review. They also claimed that important information was intentionally sent at the last minute. However, this was a same-day booking, and the additional instructions were sent immediately after we received the reservation. We have built our reputation serving thousands of customers through transparency, trust, and professional service. We encourage future customers to review the thousands of reviews we have received across all platforms, which reflect the experiences of the many guests we have proudly served over the years. We understand that losing part of a reservation due to arriving late can be frustrating, but it is unfair to mislead future customers by describing clearly disclosed fees as theft or manipulation. We encourage all guests to carefully review the listing details, exclusions, fees, and selected reservation time before booking.

    Must thing to do

The ride was smooth, and Captain Adriel was very helpful and friendly. We also got ice and a cooler to keep our drinks and food cold, which was really convenient. Overall, a great experience!

Private Captained Boat Tour in Miami for up to 12 passengers: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Miami.

How much does Private Captained Boat Tour in Miami for up to 12 passengers cost?

    +

Prices start at $199 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Miami usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Captained Boat Tour in Miami for up to 12 passengers take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Miami is not rushed.

Is Private Captained Boat Tour in Miami for up to 12 passengers worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 456 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Miami, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Captained Boat Tour in Miami for up to 12 passengers?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Captained Boat Tour in Miami for up to 12 passengers suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Captained Boat Tour in Miami for up to 12 passengers?

    +

Around 160 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Miami can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Miami and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Captained Boat Tour in Miami for up to 12 passengers start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Miami within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Miami?

    +

Miami splits between the water and the neighbourhoods. Biscayne Bay boat tours, Key Biscayne snorkelling and Everglades airboats cover the first, while Wynwood mural walks, Little Havana food crawls and South Beach deco tours cover the second. We rank Everglades operators carefully: many depart from Miami but the good ones run their own boats rather than reselling seats. On Outty we rank every Miami experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 hrs Miami Private Boat with Cooler, Ice, Bluetooth Stereo, Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami, Miami: 2 Hour Private Yacht Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Miami?

    +

November to April, dry season, before hurricane and humidity months. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Miami?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
