Lookout for the Blue Flag beaches, Camps Bay and Clifton . With the background of the Twelve Apostles Camps bay is totally amazing from the top. Lookout for thrill seekers as they abseil down the almost 90 degree cliff off Table Mountain. Grab a cup of coffee from the restaurant above or a beer from Cloud Bar at the top of this iconic New Seven Wonder of Nature.

Bo-Kaap
Explore this jewel of Cape Town with colorful houses. Take a walk on the cobbled streets. One of the most photographed place in South Africa. Explore this heritage site which is home to the descendants of the Malay community. There is also a museum which provides travelers with the history of the Malay community. There is also African art and craft stalls and shops. Interact with the locals who are always smiling and cheerfully greeting travelers. Greet the locals in the local lingo -say "Awee my ma sekind"- meaning halo my mother's child. In summer this is also a very popular site for movie shoots.

Several monuments of historians who shaped the future of this country are all over. Take photos of the plat life which includes the oldest cultivated pear tree in South Africa an 800 year old tree. A well stocked fish pond and a rose garden are among the main attractions here. There is also an aviary and the Dellville Wood Memorial Garden Historical statues and also a herb and succulent garden. The Iziko South African Museum forms part of this attractive garden. Next to it is an Art Gallery with some local art and craft along the avenue.

Signal Hill
One of the most popular stops on the city tour. A must visit place especially for the sundown. This stops give you an amazing view of the city, the Cape Town stadium and the iconic Robben Island. Time permitting your visit could coincide with the firing of the canon which is done three time s a week at mid day. From here you could encounter up close paragliders taking off heading towards the ocean.

District Six Museum
This is one of the most and historical stops on this city tour. Learn about the forced removals of 1968 which resulted in non-white being settled in the Cape Flats. These are the places now called townships or "ekasi" in the local lingo. Time permitting it is a place where you are encouraged to visit and learn detailed information about the forced removals. Castle of Good Hope
The oldest standing colonial building in South Africa. Built between 1666 and 1679 this is probably the oldest colonial building built by the Dutch in the world. Built to serve as the Headquarters at the Cape and also for defensive purposes. Served as the main administrative office of the respective governments at the Cape between the Dutch and the British. Was used as the main residential place of the highest order of respect at the Cape. Was also used as a court to try cases, a prison to jail those convicted including solitary confinement. It also served many different purposes as the respective governments saw fit. Since 1936 it has been declared a national monument and part of it is now owned by Th South African Defense forces. There is also a section used for art and much more.

Very long morning!!!
Friendly owner/ driver unfortunately there were quite a few problems on the day. His car obviously needed a new battery and most times we stopped he had to get people to push the car to restart it. This should not ever happen again!!! Also lots of confusion re getting on the gondola to get up Table Mountain. Overall our morning tour ended at 3pm. To his credit we did get to do the whole tour that we paid for.

Not good value at 2500...
Not good value at 2500 per person. Still had to stand in long queues for Table Mountain. Could of just taken a Uber and stood in the queue

A quick look at Athens
We only had a few hours in Cape Town before boarding a cruise ship. This private tour worked perfectly as we were able to choose the sites we wanted to see. Very knowledgeable and engaging guide. We were able to take our lugguge so that we could be dropped off at the pier.
