Brooklyn Heights and Brooklyn Bridge Food Tour

I have taken tours with Urban Adventures and they never disappoint! Erik our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic! He spoke of the history of each area while buying us treats. We started with pecan tartlets followed by a fabulous breakfast sandwich. After a short jaunt on the Brooklyn Bridge we were rewarded with a bagel with cream cheese. Erik goal besides imparting knowledge of these areas of Brooklyn was that we should not leave this tour hungry! To that end there was another snack, which is a surprise! Finally no food tour of Brooklyn would be complete without a piece of pizza and ours was an original coal fired pizza!!! Fun day and fun way to explore this area!

Response from the operator: We can't thank you enough for this wonderful review! Erik is truly an asset to our team, and we're delighted to hear that his efforts made your tour memorable. Your kind words motivate us to continue delivering exceptional experiences. We hope to see you on another tour soon!

    Fun and Tasty Brooklyn Tour

We totally enjoyed our Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge & DUMBO Food Tour in May 2022. Our guide Justin was very knowledgeable, a great storyteller of the history of the neighborhoods and a lot of fun. The food was delicious -- and very filling. Overall, a great afternoon. This was our second Like a Local Tour and highly recommend it.

Fun Time in Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO!

My group met up with our tour guide, Justin, for our 3 hour private tour in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge, and DUMBO. The entire group had a wonderful time. Justin was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Justin earned an A+ from my group. In addition to walking around the tour packet included food. We ate pizza from Juliana's, which we all thought was delicious, stopped and had a taco in DUMBO, then during the tour we got to satisfy our sweet tooth with an delectable whoopie pie from One Girl Cookie shop, piece of chocolate candy from Jaques Torres Chocolate, and ice cream from Oddfellows. There was enough food for all of us. We all were stuffed at the end of the tour. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us this fantastic review! We are thrilled that you and your group enjoyed the tour and we hope to host you again the next time you come to NYC!

Private Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge and DUMBO Food Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Brooklyn.

How much does Private Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge and DUMBO Food Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $325 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Brooklyn usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge and DUMBO Food Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Brooklyn is not rushed.

Is Private Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge and DUMBO Food Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Brooklyn, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge and DUMBO Food Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge and DUMBO Food Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge and DUMBO Food Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Brooklyn can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Brooklyn and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge and DUMBO Food Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Brooklyn within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Brooklyn?

    +

On Outty we rank every Brooklyn experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Brooklyn Bridge & DUMBO Food Tour: Local Eats & Iconic Views, The Escape Game Brooklyn: Epic 60-Minute Adventures in City Point, Bushwick Street Art Tour and Williamsburg Lifestyle Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Brooklyn?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Brooklyn?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
