Our guide was very...
Our guide was very informative about the history of Bogotá and Colombia and he was very flexible regarding the amount of time we spent at each location. We felt we got a really good overview of the city and country. A very interesting and enjoyable day!
Response from the operator: Dear Victoria, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. Spending the day with you, your husband, and your friends was truly a pleasure. I’m very glad to know you enjoyed the flexibility of the day and felt you gained a meaningful overview of both Bogota and Colombia. Adapting the pace and time at each stop to the group is important to me, so everyone feels comfortable and engaged. Your kind words about the history and context I shared mean a lot. Thank you again for your trust, and I hope to welcome you back to Bogota someday. From Luis Felipe, muchas gracias queridos amigos! 🇨🇦🇨🇴

Two days of VIP treatment
Luis organized two days of sightseeing in Bogota. The price included all tickets and guide fees if Luis felt we needed anyone else and lots of snack stops along the way. We left the itinerary to Luis and our trust was amply repaid, he gave us not just a sightseeing trip but insights into Colombias past and present. To top it all off he had excellent restaurant recomendations.
Response from the operator: Dear Paul, thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. Spending those two days with you and your wife was truly a pleasure, and I appreciate the trust you placed in me by leaving the itinerary in my hands. I’m very happy to know you enjoyed not only the sightseeing, but also the stories and context about Colombia’s past and present. Adding local snack stops and restaurant recommendations is something I genuinely enjoy, so I’m glad those details made a difference. Thank you again for choosing Bogota Driver Guide Service. From Luis Felipe, muchas gracias amigos! 🇬🇧🇨🇴

A great guide and a full Bogotá experience!
A private tour- one on one with a guide and a comfortable car. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable- I enjoyed getting to know the real Bogotá! Plenty of food and snacks along the way!
Response from the operator: Dear Milena, thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience. Spending the day with you and your niece was a real pleasure. I’m happy to know you enjoyed seeing the real Bogota, from the vibrant energy of the farmers market to the views at Monserrate and the history in the streets of Candelaria. Sharing local flavors and snacks along the way is one of my favorite parts, and I’m so glad you enjoyed them. Your feedback truly means a lot to me. I hope to welcome you again on your next visit to Bogota. From Luis Felipe, muchas gracias! 🇵🇷🇺🇸🇨🇴

Very nice and private tour that I recommend a lot
Very nice and complete tour. They offer you an exclusive experience (small group, or solo as in my case), which is perfect because you have close contact with the guide, and then you can enjoy their explanations, adjust your experience at your will (of course with reasoning), and get a private tour. During the tour, they’re constantly asking for feedback about the activities, so be honest so that the staff can solve any issue related to the activity and provide you a great and flexible experience. They are very attentive: enjoy that. Dont have a breakfast before going to this tour! They will provide you exquisite and delicious fruits (it depends on your tastes, ok?!) and meat for the breakfast, with typical colombian food (included in the tour). Remember: Colombian dishes are large, so prepare to eat a lot. I consider this tour very complete and dynamic, since we eat a lot of colombian (and good) food, go to famous places (Botero and Oro Museums, Monserrate (with fast pass!! really important info), la candelaria neighborhood), and nice places such as local markets, and places where you can buy some gifts and sculptures and drink colombian coffee (all included in the ticket). The transportation is nice and comfortable. The staff is punctual and organized. The staff knows a lot about the history and geopolitics of Bogota and Colombia in general, so they provide you with valuable information. I strongly recommend this activity, and enjoy!
Response from the operator: Dear Carlos, Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed review of your private tour in Bogota. It was a real pleasure guiding you through the city’s markets, museums, Monserrate, and Candelaria. We’re glad you enjoyed the local breakfast, the FastPass to Monserrate, and the flexibility to make the day feel personal and dynamic. Your kind words about our punctuality and knowledge mean a lot to us. Knowing you had such a memorable and authentic experience truly makes our work rewarding. We hope to welcome you back to Bogota in the future! From Alejandro and Luis Felipe, ¡muchas gracias! 🇧🇷🇨🇴🇧🇷🇨🇴🇧🇷

Why this scores 80
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Bogota Tour: Farmers Market, Candelaria, Monserrate, 9hrs: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bogotá.
How much does Private Bogota Tour: Farmers Market, Candelaria, Monserrate, 9hrs cost?
+
Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bogotá usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Bogota Tour: Farmers Market, Candelaria, Monserrate, 9hrs take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bogotá is not rushed.
Is Private Bogota Tour: Farmers Market, Candelaria, Monserrate, 9hrs worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 66 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bogotá, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Bogota Tour: Farmers Market, Candelaria, Monserrate, 9hrs?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Bogota Tour: Farmers Market, Candelaria, Monserrate, 9hrs suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Bogota Tour: Farmers Market, Candelaria, Monserrate, 9hrs?
+
Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bogotá can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bogotá and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Bogota Tour: Farmers Market, Candelaria, Monserrate, 9hrs start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bogotá within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bogotá?
+
On Outty we rank every Bogotá experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private City Tour Bogota + Monserrate, Gold, Botero and Candelaria., Free Graffiti Walking Tour Every Day in Bogota, Viejo Bogota Food Tour with 12+ Tastings. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bogotá?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bogotá?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
