Fun Day Out
An extremely fun trip. We were a party of 9 people (20-57 years old) we had 2 crew members and we had the boat to ourselves. We played music, saw dolphins, stopped at 2 beautiful islands and snorkeled and played in the Blue Lagoon. There was even a cocktail boat to look after our needs 😜 the island of Solta was stunning. We chilled with a glass of wine and bought some local hand made glass jewelry and souvenirs. Mia and Bruno recommended and made a reservation for us at a fantastic restaurant for lunch on the island of Trogir. Food was excellent and pretty reasonable. I would definitely recommend this boat trip to anyone looking for a fun day out 😁

Disappointing
I booked this tour for my family of 7 based off the 12 great reviews posted as a fun way to explore these little islands. These reviews in hindsight are based on one captain. We did not have that person. The boat that came for us was on the smaller size for the tour maximum of 9 ppl. There was another couple with a child which made it 10 ppl plus 2 hosts. We were dropped at each place with little information. I don’t think the boat driver said 2 words to us. The assistant gave us a little information. No introductions were made, I had to ask them their names at the first stop. Not the personable tours we are used to. The first stop was a cute fishing village. Not everything was open at 10 am and only a church to see. We sat and had coffee to wait for our pick up. The 2nd stop was the Blue Lagoon. Cloudy, mildly windy weather was definitely a factor, and as pretty as it was, the blue lagoon had a lot of sea urchins making swimming difficult. Only 2 restaurants but neither were open to sit or use a bathroom. This should have been communicated to us in some way prior to the trip. We had to find our boat hosts to leave early. The best spot was the last one - Trogir. We would have loved more time there but with only 1 hour we had to quickly see some things and also have lunch. In my frequent traveler opinion go only to Trogir and enjoy the quaint town with many restaurants and shops.

Best day tour ever!!
This tour was an incredible experience, taking us to the historic town of Trogir, the stunning Blue Lagoon, and the charming village of Maslinica on Šolta Island. Each destination offered something unique: Trogir's rich history, the crystal-clear waters of the Blue Lagoon, and the tranquil beauty of Maslinica. What made this trip stand out was our experienced skipper, who guided us to the best spots for relaxation and sightseeing. The boat was comfortable, and we had a lot time to enjoy snorkeling, swimming, and tasting local dishes. This tour is perfect. Highly recommended!

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Boat Tour — Underwater Museum & Magical Blue Lagoon: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.
How much does Private Boat Tour — Underwater Museum & Magical Blue Lagoon cost?
+
Prices start at $690 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Boat Tour — Underwater Museum & Magical Blue Lagoon take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.
Is Private Boat Tour — Underwater Museum & Magical Blue Lagoon worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Boat Tour — Underwater Museum & Magical Blue Lagoon?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Boat Tour — Underwater Museum & Magical Blue Lagoon suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Boat Tour — Underwater Museum & Magical Blue Lagoon?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Boat Tour — Underwater Museum & Magical Blue Lagoon start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Split?
+
On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Split?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Split?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
