Make sure no wind is forecast before you book if you want the trip to be like in the pictures.

The captain was very friendly, there was beer and water on board. The boat is a traditional Majorcan boat and is like in the pictures shown. Having seen the pictures I was expecting calm waters and for it to be like in the photos. We wanted to snorkel and were assured we’d be shown the best places for that. On arrival it was recommended we don’t go to Formentor as it was too far and too windy. The weather app showed the wind as 5mph. But the reason we’d done the trip was that we wanted to see Formentor beach without driving. And that’s what was advertised. The trip over was choppy and we got soaked from the spray. The boat is very slow so it took over half an hour to get to Formentor. After that we said we just wanted somewhere calm to swim/snorkel. A small cove was found and we had a 10 min swim. The captain threw in some bread to attract a few fish but wasn’t really what we had in mind for seeing fish while snorkelling. Then we were taken around to the next bay which was calmer waters where a lot of boats were moored and people were swimming. It looked ideal so I’m not sure why we didn’t stop there. Finally it was another choppy and wet 40 min journey back to the marina. Plan to be very wet when you get back and take a change of clothing. The weather can’t be helped but I would say to check the weather before you book. 5mph doesn’t seem much but I think it would have been scary if it was any higher. It really probably needs to be no wind at all for this trip to work. It’s a lot of money for a boat ride across the bay and a 10 min swim.

Fantastic boat experience

It was spectacular! He showed us hidden coves with super crystal clear waters. The captain was very friendly and professional, creating a close environment and explaining details about every corner we went to. Highly recommended!!

A Perfect day together on the water, we decided to try a private boat tour for just the two of us, and it was amazing.

Private Boat Tour to Alcudia Pollensa and Formentor: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.

How much does Private Boat Tour to Alcudia Pollensa and Formentor cost?

+

Prices start at $170 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Boat Tour to Alcudia Pollensa and Formentor take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.

Is Private Boat Tour to Alcudia Pollensa and Formentor worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Boat Tour to Alcudia Pollensa and Formentor?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Boat Tour to Alcudia Pollensa and Formentor suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Private Boat Tour to Alcudia Pollensa and Formentor?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Boat Tour to Alcudia Pollensa and Formentor start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mallorca?

+

On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mallorca?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mallorca?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
