A perfect day on Lake Como!
A day out on Lake Como with Blue Royal Charter was one of the highlights of our trip. Gio and Aldo are incredible guides, and it’s clear how passionate they are about the history and culture of the area. And the boat is beyond beautiful – providing a picture perfect way to spend a day in Lake Como. We booked a four hour tour, which was the perfect amount of time to see and do it all. Our family includes a kid looking for adventure, a teenager wanting the perfect Instagram-worthy moment, a history buff interested in knowing all of the details, and a tired mom just wanting a day of relaxation with her family. Blue Royal Charter delivered on it all! Gio and Aldo were so accommodating to every request and made the day so memorable. My daughter said it was one of the best days of her life, and I would have to agree. It was perfect in every way. Thank you, Blue Royal Charter for giving us a day we will remember forever!
Response from the operator: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such a touching and thoughtful message. Reading your words truly moved us – knowing that each member of your family found something special in the experience means everything to us. Gio and Aldo had an amazing time with you too and are so happy to have helped create such beautiful memories. Your daughter's comment warms our hearts – that's exactly why we do what we do. Thank you again for choosing us and for being such wonderful guests. We hope to welcome you back on Lake Como one day for another unforgettable adventure! 💙

Perfect Day on Lake Como from Bellagio
Giorgio (he and his family owns the boat) made this a perfect day. We started at 1030 am with an enthusiastic welcome pickup right at our hotel. Was my wife and I and two teenagers. Boat was perfect for us. Had lovely shade cover with seats under or if wanted to sit up front had comfortable cushions. If too warm, just jump in. Excellent snacks and Prosecco and soft drinks. Was a 4 hour trip starting at Bellagio and we had a great tour of Lake Como. Giorgio showed us all the spots to see, had interesting local perspective, and was thoughtful and kind. This is the boat you want to be on for a truly special day. It is not inexpensive but definitely reasonable in comparison to other offerings for a private boat tour. And if you have kids looking for Instagram moments, there will be plenty. A genuine highlight of our Italy trip. Giorgio speaks perfect English if that is a concern.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful words! Reading your review truly warmed our hearts. Giorgio was so happy to have had the chance to spend the day with such a lovely family. We're thrilled you enjoyed the comfort of the boat, the experience on the lake, and the little details we love to share like snacks, drinks, and those perfect swim stops! Creating unforgettable memories is what we aim for, and knowing it was a highlight of your Italy trip means everything to us. We hope to welcome you back one day for more Lake Como magic! 💙

An experience to live at least once in a lifetime!!
Wow what about, the lake seen from the boat has a whole different flavor. The villas, the landscapes, are all much more visible to remember the magic of this enchanted place. Captain Luca acted as a cicero telling us anecdotes and stories of the lake very interesting and was very kind and professional. I hope to return soon because it is really worth it, thanks guys from Blue Royal Charter for the fantastic experience on Lake Como.
A presto, Luca

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Boat Tour on Lake Como Wooden Boat - Gozzo: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lake Como.
How much does Private Boat Tour on Lake Como Wooden Boat - Gozzo cost?
+
Prices start at $888 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lake Como usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Boat Tour on Lake Como Wooden Boat - Gozzo take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lake Como is not rushed.
Is Private Boat Tour on Lake Como Wooden Boat - Gozzo worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lake Como, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Boat Tour on Lake Como Wooden Boat - Gozzo?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Boat Tour on Lake Como Wooden Boat - Gozzo suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Boat Tour on Lake Como Wooden Boat - Gozzo?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lake Como can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lake Como and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Boat Tour on Lake Como Wooden Boat - Gozzo start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lake Como within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lake Como?
+
On Outty we rank every Lake Como experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Lake Como & Lugano: 2 Countries in 1 Day, Boat Cruise, Como, Bellagio & Varenna: Small Group from Milan with Boat Cruise, Small-Group Lake Como: Bellagio, Varenna, Hidden Gorge & Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lake Como?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lake Como?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
