The perfect boat tour of the Amalfi coast from Salerno

We had an outstanding day organized by Davide and executed perfectly by Massimo - our captain and tour guide. Highly recommended!

    Great Experience

Thanks to Max, we had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday on the boat while exploring Amalfi, Atrani and Positano. He was calm, kind and extremely cooperative throughout. We had a lovely experience and would definitely recommend him!

    Best day ever!

We had an amazing day with Davide. It is probably one of the best days of my life. Davide was an excellent host. We had sparkling Italian wine and buffalo mozzarella from the local region. He shared his knowledge of the history of the region and showed us all of the highlights of the Amalfi coast. We were able to swim in amazing coves that were only reachable by boat and we enjoyed an amazing lunch at his recommendation at a local Osteria that was owned by a local fisherman. What an amazing day! Cant wait to see Davide again on our next trip to Amalfi.

    A wonderful, personalised tour

The tour was amazing. Massimo showed us all the towns along the coast to Positano and took us in some caves. He shared interesting stories about what we saw and fed the fish when we swam, so we were under water with hundreds of beautiful fish (who did not appear bothered at all by us.) All along, Massimo offered options about where we would like to swim and how long for. He booked a restaurant for lunch based on our preferences and we went a beautiful place called La Gavitella, overlooking Positano, which we reached by sea taxi from the boat. We were offered drinks and given a large bag of mozzerella at the end. We did take our own snacks and water aswell as we have 4 teenagers and you never know! Compared to the other tours on bigger boats, which are much more expensive, I would say this is good value for money and more personalised (unless you're going to hire a bigger boat to yourself.) You will need sea legs if it's a bit choppy but once you're in the sea snorkelling, or having lunch, everything is fine. On the way back we went much faster, which the kids loved as the front of the boat raises slightly and the waves crash into us. That does not cause sea sicknesses and is great fun. Massimo was wonderful. We were offered lots of opportunities to snorkle and the trip was very much about what we wanted to know about the area and what we wanted to do. I would highly recommend Sea4Love. Davide, who owns the company was great at communicating and we would definitely use them again if we come back. Thank you Massimo and Davide. We had an amazing day (the kids said the best of our holiday!)

    To the man Davide!

Davide was one of a kind. He gave me & my family the best experience we can ask for. He took us all around the coasts, made sure we were hydrated, provided great amnesties and had towels on standby if you wanted to take a swim in the ocean. He is truly one of a kind and I highly recommend anyone to him for sure. Davide, thank you! Malvin, your friend from USA!

Private Boat Tour of the Amalfi Coast with Cayman Boat: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Salerno.

How much does Private Boat Tour of the Amalfi Coast with Cayman Boat cost?

    +

Prices start at $533 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Salerno usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Boat Tour of the Amalfi Coast with Cayman Boat take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Salerno is not rushed.

Is Private Boat Tour of the Amalfi Coast with Cayman Boat worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Salerno, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Boat Tour of the Amalfi Coast with Cayman Boat?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Boat Tour of the Amalfi Coast with Cayman Boat suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Boat Tour of the Amalfi Coast with Cayman Boat?

    +

Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Salerno can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Salerno and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Boat Tour of the Amalfi Coast with Cayman Boat start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Salerno within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Salerno?

    +

On Outty we rank every Salerno experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Amalfi Coast Experience from Sorrento, Naples or Salerno, Small-Group Amalfi Coast Day Cruise from Positano, Amalfi Coast Boat tour Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Salerno?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Salerno?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
