Unforgettable Day on the Amalfi Coast – Simply the Best With Captain Simone, You Truly Couldn't Ask for More Our day exploring the Amalfi Coast and Capri by boat was pure magic—thanks entirely to the incredible Captain Simone. From the moment we stepped aboard, the experience was seamless. His warm hospitality, expert navigation, and deep love for the coastline made every moment unforgettable. The boat was spotless and exceptionally comfortable, but what truly made the day stand out was Simone himself. A true local, he brought the coastline to life with captivating stories, hidden legends, and insider tips. He took us to secluded coves, crystal-clear swimming spots, and even arranged lunch at a stunning cliffside restaurant only accessible by sea. Simone’s timing was impeccable—he knew exactly how to avoid the crowds in Capri and guided us to hidden gems we never would’ve found on our own. He struck the perfect balance between laid-back luxury and adventurous spirit, giving us space to relax while quietly managing every detail behind the scenes. This wasn’t just a boat ride—it was the highlight of our entire trip to Italy. If you’re considering a private charter along the Amalfi Coast, don’t hesitate. Captain Simone is the one you want: professional, personable, and passionately committed to creating unforgettable experiences. Grazie mille, Simone—this was a day we’ll never forget. We’ll absolutely be back.

How far in advance should I book Private Boat Tour of Amalfi Coast and Capri Island from Positano?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Positano can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

+

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Positano?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Positano?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
