An unforgettable Capri experience
Emilio was the perfect skipper for our first boat tour around Capri. He was patient, kind, and tailored our private experience to exactly what our family wanted. He had a cooler stocked with cold drinks and snacks, let us play our own music as we cruised the beautiful coastline, and made the day feel completely relaxed. Our kids’ favorite part was swimming off the boat, and Emilio took us to safe, beautiful spots where they could enjoy the water. It was an unforgettable family experience and, without a doubt, the highlight of our two-week trip to Italy. We would book with Emilio again in a heartbeat!

A fantastic experience
We had a wonderful experience with our skipper Stefano. Stefano’s communication before the trip was excellent. Because of some rough weather conditions in the morning we moved the trip to later in the day. However we had lots of notice and constant chats with Stefano via WhatsApp. Our 5 year old son loved it, especially being able to drive the boat under Stefano’s supervision. We only did the half day, as we thought the heat might get a bit much for our son, which was a good call, as he was definitely beginning to get tired , and we did come back a little early because of this. The half day cost around £900, which isn’t the cheapest way to see the coastline, however, being able to stop wherever we want and jump in the sea, and escape the crowds, for us, was worth the extra money. It was everything we hoped for and we made some amazing memories.

Amazing half day Boat Tour around Capri!
We went on a half day boat tour around Capri from Sorrento. Our skipper Bruno was amazing! He was friendly, and very knowledgeable about all of the sites around the island. I was with my husband and our two young adult sons, and he made sure we had the perfect amount of time for swimming and adventure, they absolutely loved it. We were able to get into the Blue Grotto within a half an hour of waiting which was an unforgettable experience. This was probably our favorite day of our vacation and next time we will do a full day. Highly recommend this boat excursion and Bruno!!

Outstanding Skipper, Beautiful Day
We had an absolutely fantastic day on our boat trip from Sorrento to Capri and back. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised. Our skipper was exceptional. He was brilliant with our two young daughters, making them feel comfortable and included throughout the day. He was always attentive, making sure we had drinks whenever we wanted them, and was incredibly observant while we were swimming, which gave us real peace of mind as a family. The boat itself was spotless and clearly very well looked after. The driving was smooth and professional, the music created a great atmosphere, and the whole experience felt relaxed and effortless. Communication before the trip was excellent—we received clear instructions on exactly when and where to meet, and everything ran right on time. Our skipper was friendly, polite, and professional throughout. This was easily one of the highlights of our holiday. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sorrento or Capri, especially families with young children. Thank you for an unforgettable day!

How much does Private Boat Tour: Capri Full Day from Sorrento cost?

How long does Private Boat Tour: Capri Full Day from Sorrento take?

Is Private Boat Tour: Capri Full Day from Sorrento worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 66 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Boat Tour: Capri Full Day from Sorrento?
+
Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sorrento?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sorrento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
