Best boat tour
Fantastic experience from start to finish, certainly the best boat tour, the driver was friendly with an eye to detail. Would certainly recommend for couples who want something more private and exclusive. We was able release my dad's ashes to his final resting place, and the driver really made sure this was special for such a delicate voyage. 10/10 experience would certainly be booking again. Thank you for the best tour!

Best boat in Anafi
This is the second year we book with Miltos and honestly we wouldn’t go with any other company. The boat is great and he is a very experienced captain. But in addition to that we accommodates to what we wanted to see and do and he is super knowledgeable of Santorini and Anafi (were we book it). Also the pastries he brings are amazing! Next year no doubt we will organise with him again.

Amazing cruise!
Captain Miltos was wonderful! From the moment his wife picked us up, to the very end of the trip, nothing fell short of amazing! He was an excellent tour guy, full of knowledge of Santorini! The trip was filled with history, swimming, snorkeling, fresh Santorini wine and pies! I would recommend this cruise to everyone I know and encourage you to book with Captain Miltos!

Highly recommended
We booked this tour after reading other reviews online and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. Everything ran very smoothly from the help choosing the best day (for the best weather conditions) to the pick up and drop off location and timings. Miltos and his wife were excellent hosts from start to finish. The boat was immaculate and seeing the island from the sea is a completely different perspective. In addition to visiting the sites, we enjoyed learning from Miltos’ extensive knowledge of the island - he had an answer to every question we had! Extra thoughtful touches like the drinks and snacks from a local bakery were also very much appreciated. This was a relaxed and fun trip and we highly recommend!

Brilliant experience
Fantastic boat trip with Captain Miltos on calm seas and in a nearly brand new excellent boat. It was amazing to see the Caldera from the sea as it provides such a different experience. Miltos is also a great host and will show you the story of how Santorini came to be. Great stops at various caves, fab swimming, snorkeling at the volcano, hot springs, cliff jumping and much much more. You can’t go wrong with this crew and I would recommend them all day long instead of booking with the bigger companies. Why? Because Miltos and his wife (who runs the transportation) runs a brilliant small family business that is focused on one thing - caring for you and providing you with a different and unique experience. Its a superb set up door to door.

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private boat tour along the coastline of Santorini and volcano: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Private boat tour along the coastline of Santorini and volcano cost?
+
Prices start at $820 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private boat tour along the coastline of Santorini and volcano take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Private boat tour along the coastline of Santorini and volcano worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 78 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private boat tour along the coastline of Santorini and volcano?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private boat tour along the coastline of Santorini and volcano suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private boat tour along the coastline of Santorini and volcano?
+
Around 27 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private boat tour along the coastline of Santorini and volcano start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
