Fun day on a nice boat in a beautiful place!
We overall enjoyed this experience. We didn’t realize it was an hour to get to where the boat was from our hotel (close to the city center) and then another hour by boat to Aegina. The company had a car that took us both ways. The boat wasn't at a marina, but a boat ramp, which we also did not expect (it was fine). The boat itself was nice and had a comfortable seating area for the 5 of us. There was a bathroom. The captain was nice and let us connect to the speaker to play music. We went to Aegina for 2 hours and then spent the rest of the time at Moni Beach. We ate at Aegina because of timing, so we didn't end up going to Perdika. Aegina was cute and quaint and we enjoyed walking around. Moni island had deer and peacocks so we saw those, walked around, and went swimming for a while. It came with water and wine, but you need to bring your own towels. The trip felt really long because of the hour by boat and then hour by car both ways. Everyone was really punctual, which was appreciated. We enjoyed this experience. They were flexible on the timing with us, which was great due to our jet lag. I would recommend this experience!

Unforgettable wonderful experience
I just want to write this to thank you for the unforgettable wonderful and enjoyable time we had on the private boat tour. One of the best experience we have ever had. Mr. Labros was wonderful what an experienced captain always made sure safety was first. He was so attentive to our needs and made sure that we were safe and had a great time. I am really grateful for his dedication sincerity and commitment that he showed on the tour. I hope I will have the opportunity to return to Greece again and experience the tour again, God willing. Thank you again for the memorable tour and thank you for Captain Labros. Most sincerely, and gratefully, Yours truly, Johnson and family

Great cruise to Hydra island!
Our private cruise to Hydra Island was the highlight of our trip to Athens. Our skipper was friendly and provided fascinating insights about the boat and the sea. Upon arriving at Hydra, we were captivated by its picturesque, car-free streets and charming architecture. We enjoyed the sun and the sea and my sons enjoyed diving and snorkelling. Before returning back we had a great lunch at Perdika! Do not miss this out!

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Boat Excursion to Aegina and Moni Islands from Athens: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.
How much does Private Boat Excursion to Aegina and Moni Islands from Athens cost?
+
Prices start at $1940 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Boat Excursion to Aegina and Moni Islands from Athens take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.
Is Private Boat Excursion to Aegina and Moni Islands from Athens worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Boat Excursion to Aegina and Moni Islands from Athens?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Boat Excursion to Aegina and Moni Islands from Athens suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Boat Excursion to Aegina and Moni Islands from Athens?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Boat Excursion to Aegina and Moni Islands from Athens start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
