About this experience
Hatıralar! Memories—what remains when they are taken from the lives? The ancient Greeks imposed the worst punishment, “damnatio memoriae,” erasing all traces of memory and existence. But Blue Tour Cappadocia keeps those memories alive. Cappadocia. At first glance, you may see only stone houses and fairy chimneys, but the history of this land runs much deeper. One of its deepest scars comes from the population exchange of 1923, when voices that had filled these streets for centuries fell silent. One morning, Greek families who had known no other home locked their doors for the last time. They left behind their villages, homes, vineyards, and the graves of their ancestors. In Turkish, there is a saying: “Gözün arkada kalmasın” — “Don’t worry, don’t look back.” But they did. Many left with only a few belongings, carrying their house keys with hope of returning one day. But they never did. Those who arrived rebuilt their lives in homes that still carried the memories of another time.

What you'll see and do
Mustafapasa
Your first stop is Mustafapaşa, formerly known as Sinasos. Once a thriving Greek settlement until the 1923 population exchange, its stone-paved alleys, ornate stonework, and wooden balconies reflect a time when traders sailed to the Black Sea, bringing wealth that shaped the village’s architecture.
30 minutes here
From Mustafapaşa, you will visit Cemil Church, a lesser-known rock-hewn sanctuary. Its frescoes, though faded, still bear the devotion of those who once gathered here by candlelight.
60 minutes here
Keslik Monastery
After a short drive, you will explore Keşlik Monastery, a secluded site tucked into the rugged hills. Unlike more visited monastic sites, Keşlik retains a peaceful solitude. Its churches, Archangelos and Stephanos, feature frescoes in muted reds and ochres, preserving their history. The monastery’s rock-carved water system reflects the resourcefulness of those who once sought refuge here.
60 minutes here · Admission included
Sobesos Ancient City
Next, you will visit Sobesos Ancient City, where the Roman era comes to life. Discovered by chance, Sobesos challenges the idea that this region was solely inhabited by cave dwellers. Its stone-paved streets, bathhouses, and council chambers hint at a once-thriving urban center. Smaller than grand Roman ruins, its floor mosaics show that Rome’s influence reached deep into Anatolia.
45 minutes here · Admission included
Soganli Valley
You will then hike through Soğanlı Valley, where the landscape tells its own story. Rock-hewn churches, carved by monastic communities seeking solitude, line the cliffs. In the shadowed interior of Karabaş Church, delicate frescoes of saints and apostles still watch from soot-darkened walls. Not far away, Yılanlı Church (the “Snake Church”) depicts St. George slaying a dragon-like serpent, rich in spiritual meaning and symbolism.

Beautiful experience
Nisa was our guide for three days and was fantastic. Always punctual and kind, she quickly became part of our group and took us to places we would never have found on our own, from beautiful terraces to cave dwellings still inhabited today. Her explanations were always simple, she took us to scenic spots where we could take beautiful photos, and she recommended local restaurants where we ate really well. It was a truly wonderful addition to our vacation.
Response from the operator: Dear Aletre, Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful reflection on your three days in Cappadocia with Adventus Travel Company. One of the things we value most in private travel is the freedom to move beyond a fixed itinerary and allow a destination to reveal itself through places, people, conversations, and small discoveries along the way. Knowing that your time with Nisa developed in exactly this way means a great deal to us. Cappadocia has many famous landmarks, but some of its most memorable experiences are often found away from the obvious route: a viewpoint known locally, a lived-in cave home, a table we genuinely enjoy ourselves, or simply the right place to stop and appreciate the landscape. We are particularly glad that Nisa became such a natural part of your time together. For us, that human connection is every bit as important as good planning and knowledgeable guiding. Thank you for choosing Adventus and for allowing us to contribute to your time in Türkiye. We hope Cappadocia remains one of those places you remember with warmth for many years to come. Warm regards, Adventus Travel Company

Unforgettable memories
Nisa was our tour guide in Cappadocia for three days during our private tour, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Thanks to her, we were able to visit all the most beautiful and fascinating places in Cappadocia and make the most of our time there. She was always punctual, precise and incredibly helpful, but also friendly, cheerful and full of enthusiasm. She gave us so much interesting information about Cappadocia, its history, culture and traditions, always making everything engaging and enjoyable. Her passion for her work was evident, and she was truly dedicated to making our experience as pleasant and memorable as possible. Thanks to Nisa, our three days in Cappadocia were absolutely wonderful. We were genuinely sorry to continue our tour without her. She is an incredibly professional, knowledgeable, passionate and kind guide, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone visiting Cappadocia!
Response from the operator: Dear Naomi, Thank you for such a generous review and for trusting Adventus Travel Company with your three days in Cappadocia. What means the most to us is that, by the end of your time together, Nisa had become more than simply the person guiding you from one place to another. We believe the finest private travel experiences are built this way: through knowledge and careful planning, certainly, but also through conversation, shared curiosity, and a genuine connection that develops naturally along the way. Cappadocia has thousands of years of history behind its extraordinary landscape, and three days gives us the opportunity to go beyond its famous landmarks and gradually reveal more of the culture, traditions, and everyday life that give the region its character. We are very glad that you gave Nisa the time and trust to share that side of her home with you. We smiled when we read that you were sorry to continue without her. Perhaps that simply means there should be another chapter next time. There is still a great deal of Türkiye waiting to be discovered, and we would be delighted to welcome you back one day. Thank you again, Naomi. Your words mean a great deal to Nisa and to all of us at Adventus. Warm regards, Adventus Travel Company

Great Cappadocia guided tour experience
We spent three days in Cappadocia with Nisa. Her guided tour allowed us to enjoy an experience full of interesting information, while keeping things light and fun. The way Nisa accompanied us in discovering the most beautiful and fascinating places in Cappadocia was both informative and entertaining. Her way of telling the history is engaging and easy to follow, and it was also a pleasure to chat with her between visits. She also introduced us to some wonderful local restaurants, serving delicious and authentic food that we would certainly never have discovered without her! If I were to return to Turkey, I would definitely contact her again for more tours and recommendations. Thank you, Nisa, for making our wonderful trip to this fascinating country even more special!
Response from the operator: Dear Elena, Thank you for your beautiful words and for spending these three days in Cappadocia with Adventus Travel Company. What makes us especially happy is knowing that your time with Nisa became more than simply visiting places together. We have always believed that the best guides create a connection between the traveler and the destination, not only through history and knowledge, but also through conversation, local flavors, spontaneous discoveries, and the small details of everyday life. Food is very much part of that story in Cappadocia. Some of the most authentic memories of a destination are made around a local table, so we are delighted that a few of Nisa's favorite places became part of your experience as well. Your wish to travel with us again is perhaps the greatest compliment we could receive. Türkiye has many more stories, landscapes, and regional traditions waiting beyond Cappadocia, and our doors will be open whenever you decide to return. Thank you for trusting Nisa and Adventus with your time in Türkiye. We hope to welcome you back one day. Warm regards, Adventus Travel Company

Amazing experience in Cappadocia!
I visited Cappadocia on a 3-day tour guided by Nisa. It was a fantastic experience. In addition to sharing fascinating historical information about the places we visited, Nisa helped us experience them in the most authentic way possible. Thanks to the right scheduling of the visits, we avoid the most crowded moments. The visits were perfectly timed, with just the right breaks to relax, enjoy the day, and take in the breathtaking views. We couldn’t have hoped for a better experience, great price/quality ratio. Highly recommended!
Response from the operator: Dear Carlo, Thank you for choosing Adventus Travel and for sharing your experience with us. It was a pleasure to welcome you to Cappadocia and to have three days together to discover the region beyond its most familiar sights. We believe a well-designed private tour is not simply about deciding where to go, but also understanding when to be there, when to slow down, and when to let the day unfold naturally. Cappadocia rewards this kind of thoughtful approach, especially when there is enough time to appreciate its history and landscapes without turning the experience into a checklist. We are particularly glad that Nisa was able to bring this philosophy into your days together. Our guides are not only there to interpret the places we visit, but also to read the rhythm of the day and shape the experience around the people traveling with us. Thank you again for placing your trust in Adventus. We hope these three days remain a memorable part of your time in Türkiye, and perhaps one day we will have the opportunity to show you another corner of the country. Warm regards, Adventus Travel Company

Cappadocia like a local
Fantastic tour, A mixture of sights, culture, and Cappadocian hospitality. The tour I did was customised to a 4 day tour adding elements from the range of tours offered by the company. My Tour leader Nisa or “B” as I called her was a local and it made such a difference. We were able to dodge around the crowds as she knew local shortcuts and people. We were able to meet and eat with the locals and enjoy their hospitality. We went off the beaten tourist track sometimes, and when the weather didn't quite play nice, we adjusted accordingly. One of the greatest moments was drinking tea with one of the cavehouse owners and also having a lunch with a local couple. "B" has great suggestions for places to go to watch the sunset and also local restaurants. We went to local market and a stall keeper had me trying my haggling skills to sell him something!! It was more like visiting family and seeing the sights than going on a small tour! Our driver was efficient and safe and the van was immaculate. I will be back!
Response from the operator: Dear Ken, Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful reflection on your days in Cappadocia. Hosting your journey was genuinely memorable for all of us at Adventus Travel Company. From the quiet morning hours before the valleys filled with visitors to the unexpected moments in Avanos Market, your openness to local life shaped the experience into something far more meaningful than a standard itinerary. Seeing you behind a market stall selling beets with the local vendors is still a story we continue to smile about in the office. One of the values we hold closely at Adventus is allowing space for travel to unfold naturally. Cappadocia is not only a region of landscapes and monuments, but also of conversations over tea, shared tables, village markets, and the small human moments that cannot be scheduled in advance. Sometimes the most lasting memories arrive quietly, between destinations rather than at them. We also deeply appreciate the trust you placed in your guide and team throughout the journey. That level of openness creates the freedom to shape each day according to timing, rhythm, weather, and the character of the moment itself. It is often the reason travelers are able to experience a more personal side of Anatolia. Your kind words about feeling less like a guest and more like family mean a great deal to us. Those are the connections that remain long after a journey ends. The door to Cappadocia will always remain open for you, and we would be very happy to welcome you back one day for another chapter together. Warm regards, Adventus Travel

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Blue Tour - Cappadocia: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Goreme.
How much does Private Blue Tour - Cappadocia cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Goreme usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Blue Tour - Cappadocia take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Goreme is not rushed.
Is Private Blue Tour - Cappadocia worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Goreme, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Blue Tour - Cappadocia?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Blue Tour - Cappadocia suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Blue Tour - Cappadocia?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Goreme can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Goreme and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Blue Tour - Cappadocia start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Goreme within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Goreme?
+
On Outty we rank every Goreme experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Red (North) Tour Cappadocia (small group) with lunch and tickets, Green (South) Tour Cappadocia (small group) with lunch and ticket, Cappadocia Green Tour - Classic Route (Popular). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Goreme?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Goreme?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
