Disappointed as weather was poor
The trip was carried out in poor weather when really it would have been best to cancel this . The ride on the speedboat out to the blue lagoon was literally a white knuckle ride, hitting waves so hard and fast everyone was terrified and got soaked to the skin ! No mention whatsoever of wearing a life jacket or if there even were any !! this was very concerning to be honest. Arrived safely to the Blue Lagoon which was the biggest disappoint , there was nothing blue about this lagoon, we should have just stayed at the beach in Split. Now i know the tour operator has no control over the weather and perhaps on a sunny day the lagoon has lovely blue waters to be seen but alas none this day . The place was deserted, not even a toilet or bar open, it was literally closed so we sat on a beach chair for 1.5 hours waiting to return to Trogid. 2 people snorkelled and said there was nothing to see which was disappointing . Trogid ride over in boat was much less scary and the place is lovely but really Split equals the beauty of the place so if i had know it was so similar we would not have bothered . Trip back home was a bit scary in parts and damp and cold by the time we arrived back . The skipper was a pleasant lad and nothing to do with him the trip being so disappointing . If the weather is any way hit and miss I would not be inclined to bother with this . For the 2 of us it was not worth the half day and cost .
Response from the operator: Hi, thank you for your feedback. We appreciate every review from our clients. It helps us to understand customer's needs and be better with every service. We want to explain to you that we always check the weather forecast and sea currents to be sure that a speedboat excursions would be possible and safe. I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience and the weather changed during your tour. Boat ride was perfectly safe but I understand that sometimes can be a little bumpy if the afternoon wind starts to blow (life jackets are available on every boat). Even we are checking the forecast all the time, unfortunately weather can be unpredictable sometimes and we can't predict last minute changes in advance. Hope you'll be back in Croatia in the future and have an opportunity to experience speedboat tours on a sunny and calm day. Kindest reagdrs from the entire Sugaman team

Blue Lagoon paradise
My family and I had a great time with Sugarman company. The color of the sea is something you should experience, trust me. It was still cold for diving but we had an amazing experience. It was good decision to choose a private tour because we had an extra places in our itinerary.
Response from the operator: Hi, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are happy to hear that our tour met your expectations to pass a wonderful day. Thank you one more time and we hope to see you again soon! Kind regards from Sugaman team

+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
